The easy way to upload data is with the Cosmos Patcher as described here, however, for some people, they can't use it, or don't want to. For those people, the old ways are best.
Here you can upload data through a simple form. Click the button below and browse to your World of Warcraft directory, then to WTF\Account\<Account Name>\SavedVariables\Thottbot. Of course, before there will be data there you have to have the Thottbot lua plugin, which is included with Cosmos, or available seperately here. If you aren't using the Cosmos Patcher you will want to get a new copy of the Thottbot plugin after every WoW patch, or your uploaded data may be discarded, not to mention possible errors in game. If you upload the wrong stuff, you will probably get an error message. If you upload corrupt data, you probably won't. This is for two reasons: one, it confuses and annoys those who want to upload bad data, and two, it's not actually processed the second you upload it. Instead, it goes into a queue to hang out and chat with the groovy Cosmos.exe uploads before joining the wise collective. Usually this only takes a few seconds.
