Simply awsome wand you can get just by killing an elephant. Go in Nagrand and talk to nesing then do all the qests, then go get ur uber wand...best one youll have in a while.

This shadow wand is awesome, expcially for locks and priests, which can gain an extra bonus and deal more damage. I did all the pre quests with a pally in about 2 hours. Really nice!

and the really cool thing about this wand is that it looks really kool like the arm of a skeleton !

This wand is well worth the 184 kills you have to make to get it.
Added bonuses:
All the kills levelled me.
All the skins maxxed out my skinning  375/375

I didn't think this wand was that good actually, for a Non Destruction-Warlock that is.

Unless you're destruction, the spell crit isn't all too great (don't get me wrong, I like spell crit no matter what spec)

But as an Affliction / Demo lock, I searched the AH and just picked up some green wand.


It had:
+13 Stamina
+8 Intellect
+10 Spell Damage.


I don't know about you, but I'd gladly take 13 Staming and 8 Intellect as affliction / demo, over +4 more spell damage .5% chance to crit.

DESTO LOCKS ARE JUST PEOPLE THAT REALIZED TOO LATE THAT THEY MEANT TO SELECT A MAGE

Desolation Rod is really better for a 66 shadow priest.  I don't wand anymore (never really get below 90% mana, never worry about the 5second rule anymore, just VT, SW:P, Flay, rank 1 fear).  The stats really aren't that great, and I do much more shadow damage with mindflay.  I don't use spells that crit, so...  kind of useless.  But totally worth the XP.

So yeah.  I'd stick with the old green reward for the stats (especially the spirit).
