Bear tankin trinket.

Best tanking trinket for any tank (Paladin, Druid, Warrior).
Equip: 1.80% dodge at lvl 70
Use: 14.29% dodge at lvl 70 As of 2/28/07, this DOES NOT share any CD with the quest reward dodge trinket from the HP. Charm of Alacrity I can pop them both and have over 50% dodge in bear form. well by Aurelli, Score 0.00

In my opinion this trinket is better for a Druid Bear thank than any other classes.
Reason being there artn't any "eek" situation skills druids have at their disposal. The only skill they have is a HoT which restores 2500hp over 10secs whilst burning down your rage bar. (2500hp with about 1/7 of a raid full buffed druid's health, which won't save you from an 8k crushing blow. It's a skill best used in 5 mans or to get some additional aggro) I currently use this green trinket that I got from the goblins in hellfire on day one at level 60. I would dream to get this trinket. I have no idea if this would be equally beneficail for a Palladin tank, I never played one or met a good one.
This is a kick ass trinket for most non-spell classes in PVP.
However it comes from a PVE enquanter and I guess any guild out there will see that this trinket has been made for tank-druids. For me who quite often fill in as MT in Karazen this trinket in combination with the Adamantive Figurine is a lifesaver when I notice my healers are struggeling. It just makes those 4k hits each second to go down to 3k hits every 5 second. And one more thing with this trinket that maybe makes it one of the best out there is that it doesn't share cooldown with any other trinket I have tried and it even doesn't trigger the global cooldown on anything! So in theory I can pop two trinkets and my regeneration within .5 seconds.
Tried it last night and this does not share a cooldown with the Adamantine Figurine either.

I would say druid tank / MT are equally qualified to have pri on this beaut.
It dropped for us last night me and a druid did the tanking combo and it works great that way. To the point The dodge is as important for mt as it is for druids. I have equipment mostly towards dodge it may take away some hp but i feel i get tons in return by dodging alot of hits saving healers alot of mana. I was about 21% dodge before trinket now its 23% with that bonus use 300 dodge rating to go. its all about finding the balance. Its always a relief for healers when fighting hard hiting bosses if you can compensate with dodge /parry not only high armor and hp. same here ^^ killed him more than 10 times, the watch never dropped. but in our guild's karazhan grp 2, it dropped in the first run -_- thats called...fate...
This trinket gives dodge. It's true that dodge is all druids have in terms of avoidance, but this is offset by their incredibly high sta and AC. The truth is, dodge rating is exactly as effective for warrior or pally tanks as it is for druids. If it had, say, AC on it instead, it'd be more a druid trinket due to their 400% bonus. If it had block or parry, it'd be more a warrior/pally trinket. But dodge (like stamina) is a universal stat which isn't any more effective for druids as it is for anyone else.
This is a tanking trinket, pure and simple. All tanks are equally entitled to it. Rogues, this drops in a raid. In a raid, you don't get hit. Please be sensible and don't roll on this, at least until all tanks in the raid already have it.
Got this tonight in Karazhan, first time to down Moroes. None of the tanks wanted it, so I asked if they would mind me taking. Sucks for PvE for a rogue, but is very nice in PvP.

wtf? rogue needs it? If you are thinking about PVP, get things with resilence. Or AP/crit......
This is a tanking trinket. Get it if you are farming kara, but not for progression. MT will need this over OT. It's as simple as that.
Well last night me being a MT I got a bunch of BS from the rogue that came with me, Saying that he wanted the watch.
Even though I knew it was a better trinket for me. Can we say greedy,or even loot whore. Well he bitched enough to get it well just say that.
6th time in Kara and I got his. This thing has dropped several times while I've been there. Long story short, I was healing at the time and since I am aiming for some tank gear, I asked for it. Both tanks didn't need it so my healadin self lucked out. Only a few more pieces and I'll be UC! Wooot! ^.^
~M_D~ I wonder if this shares any CD with Figurine of the Colossus? O.o
This trinket does NOT share cooldown with the Badge of Tenacity.
As a feral druid, my normal dodge is about 37% self buffed. I use both, and when I pop the BoT, I get 150 AGI for 15 seconds, which is a bit over 10% extra dodge. Pushing me close to or over 50% depending on my other buffs/potions. When I pop the Pocket Watch, I get about 15% dodge for 10 seconds. This pushes me to around 55% depending on my other buffs/potoins. Usually, I just alternate them, so that the healers do not see overly "spiky" dmg. Maybe use one every minute during a long fight, so that the healers see fairly even dmg, with some chances to catch up now and then if they are behind. However, in PvP or in some other special circumstances, like bosses that enrage for short periods of time, or when something goes wrong and I need to cope, I will pop both of them at the same time if they are both available. This gives +25% dodge for 10 seconds, then +10% dodge for the remaining 5 seconds. These two trinkets make a good tanking combination due to the versatility of not having a shared cooldown. Plus the permanent effect of each (+2% dodge for Moroes, and plus 1500 Armor *In Bear Form* with BoT) is extremely good for druid tanks.
The reason that some are missing as to why a Druid should get first priority is that they don't have as many options. I am a Pally tank with Adamantite Figurine, which has 32 defense rating and Dabiri's Enigma, which gives 30. Yes the "use" capability of the figurine kinda sux cuz it's just armor, but Dabiri's 125 block rating for 15 sec rocks.
The 32 defense on the figurine is worth 32 x .067= 2.14% avoidance. The 38 dodge on the watch is worth 38 x .053 = 2.01% avoidance. See the problem? If you are a Pally working towards that all-important uncrushable status, you are slightly closer to that with the figurine because it has more of the reliable avoidance you need. The "use" effect of Dabiri has a long cooldown, so you can't chain it with the watch "use" effect to be reliably uncrushable. Some crushable Pallies may still prefer the watch to the figurine because the "use" effect is way better and the reliable avoidance difference is small. Now, since a druid doesn't get the same benefit from defense due to no blocking or parry, dodge is worth a helluva lot more to them, relative to other options. Dodge is their only avoidance man, give em a break! They don't need to think about tradeoffs with other stats because there really isn't one, and they have fewer trinkets that will help them at all (Dabiri's won't, for example). IF the Pally is already uncrushable, however, that means they are at 100%+ avoidance/block against L73 with holy shield up. IF they are that far and are trying to replace block with dodge to reduce overall damage, THEN the Pally has a near equal need IMHO. I know less about warriors, but since they become uncrushable much quicker than Pallies do, they might also be able to make a good case. The Pally (and maybe the warrior?) will be giving up a little threat generation due to reduced blocking though. Rogues - of course you do a disservice to your guild if you roll on this against a tank.
All I kno is I'm exalted and apparently not lucky enough for a lucky pocket watch..... WTH...

Got over 35% dodge on my druid thanks to this, think around 65% when I pop this and Charm of Alacrity.
Decided to be nice and offtank kara for some guildies, even though it's usually not something i jump to do since kara can be boring when there is nothing you need anymore for your main spec...what do you know this drops off moroes and since the maintank has it i ask for it. And what do you know some rogue decides he needs it as well...95 roll by him and 5 by me. moral of the story- make sure your loot master has a brain.
Great trinket for ZA! Can be a life-saver at Halazzi and in general avoidence is very neccessary in ZA as all bosses can not crush, but hit VERY hard with normal swings! Blocking is almost useless except for threat

Hmm, well it might be true that it could help you during farming or heroics, but your guild isn't running Kara in order to make farming easier for YOU, your guild is running kara so your ENTIRE guild can progress to Gruul's and beyond, no matter how awesome YOU are at farming or heroics, that won't help your GUILD get into Gruul's, good lord man, don't ask what the guild can do for you, ask what you can do for your guild. Let the tanks have this trinket

No this trinket is useful for other tanks but is a feral druid trinket priority. If there is a feral druid tank it should always go to the druid first. Here is why, first of all there are a ton of trinkets in the game that benifit a warrior or pally in terms of evasion stats. Gnomeregan autoblocker, and tons of others that either add shield midigation or block/parry. Druids only have one evasion stat which is dodge. Though druids do have high armor and hp, the fact of the matter is druids inevitably take more damage if they dont' have high evasion than a warrior tank for bosses. Warriors/ pally's have parry dodge and block. Additonally block value miditagates damage physcially taken from each attack aditionally to armor. YOUR BASE AC DOES NOT DETERMINE HOW MUCH DAMAGE YOU TAKE as a warrior or pally !! so to compare druid armor to pally or warrior armor is irrelevant!! They physical damage done to both warrior and pally tanks is midigated by talents, or defensive stance for example that bonus, and shield block value. DRUIDS DO NOT HAVE SHIELD BLOCK VALUE OR TALENTS TO REDUCE DAMAGE TAKEN THROUGH SHIELDS. Thus, AC is not a good indicator of how much damage someone will take. DODGE is all a druid has so if you let a warrior or pally tank take this trinket over a druid you are a fool. End of story. The evasion stats that should be stack the most for either or a warrior or pally is shield block % simply because a warrior gets more rage when he blocks and attack and with the prot pally talent redoubt , you can have almost 100% block % at times if you stack block. I play all 3 kinds of tanks , i know how they all work. SO LESS QQ.. dont STEAL THIS FROM A FERAL DRUID EVER.
