its like a token system. similar to how aq, aq40 and naxx worked. items like these drop, those classes roll for the token, then turn it in for the gear. 1 person can loot 1 of the tokens that drop, not everyone in the raid. Luckily, kara is 10 man so you wont have to fight 39 ppl like you did b4.
Both tier 4 and tier 5 armor is epic. Tokens are used as currency for both of those tiers as well. Also, tokens for tier 4 drop in various high-end instances such as Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Serpentshrine Lair, etc. Tokens for tier 4 are labeled as "Fallen". Tokens for tier 5 pieces also drop in thses high-end instances and from 25 man raids. Tier 5 tokens are labeled as "Vanquished".
Ex. Tier 4 Warlock Leggings come from Leggings of the Fallen Hero. Tier 5 Warlock Leggings come from Leggings of the Vanquished Hero.
lmao at the guy who said Tier 4 was rare. Especially since he called us noobs. Well to be exact "naabs." The rare set is DS3 buddy. Voidheart is T4, and X of the Corruptor is T5. Both are epic. Get your material straight before you call other ppl noobs buddy.
Do I have to be exalted with Scryers or Aldor in order to exchange these for the piece of gear?
I won this item with a 95 in roll, but the guild master though the mage should get it with 87 in roll because she was veteran 1 rank higher than me, and I asked why and she said guild rules! She didn't even tell about those "guild rules to anyone" and the mage had a really good epic helm! and I got a freaken blue one! This post is faded because it has a negative score.
My mage just turned 70 a few nights ago and is still sporting greens. I somehow, by some freak chance of luck, got invited as a DPS to Kara for the last 2 bosses and was pretty much along for the ride. Happened upon this and actually won it as I was the only mage that needed it, and there were no other qualifying classes that needed it as well. I still had a green helm piece from level 67 when I won this. This is so much better, I laughed when I won it.
They tried to rob me of this last night in a PUG. Long story short, it dropped I rolled a 91 nobody else rolled until a Warlock rolled an 82. The Raid Leader, who is a Mage, then PMs me with something like "can I have this? You had a really good night already." so I said no, and he gave it up. I would have been really pissed if he didn't pass it. In the end, the right person got it. ME haha.
