Bring 1 Alterac Valley Mark of Honor, 1 Arathi Basin Mark of Honor, 1 Warsong Gulch Mark of Honor and 1 Eye of the Storm Mark of Honor to a Horde Warbringer in any Horde capital city or Shattrath.

Serving the Horde in one of the great battles against the Alliance is a source of great honor! The few however, that have served the Horde in ALL of our active battlefronts are our truly great fighters. We shall vanquish our opponents, not by fighting isolated skirmishes, but by waging a well-coordinated war. Go forth and crush the Alliance in Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley, Eye of the Storm and Warsong Gulch! For Honor! For the Horde!

The reward listed in the quest is 2g 70s, but what kind of reputation do you get? I'm hoping/guessing that you get additional reputation (more than the usual amount) for turning in tokens like this, instead of the usual three-at-a-time.

I'm wondering about the experience given too. Since AB gives me 3200 xp each time I turn it in (first time 6200) but I hope this one gives at least better than the usual 3 token per run with each BG

this one is much better then passing one by one. It gives about 2400 honor (about 1500 bonus) and
200 for frostwolf and 150 for others in reputation.

This is MUCH better because any normal 3 token turn in, only gives 50-100 rep. so, any AV token you get, keep them only for this quest

As I said in topic. This is the reward for a lvl 60 after previously handing the quest in already.

I wonder if this is more reputation then handing in

3 at a time=50 rep each time
3x3= 100 or 150 with each one, that's atleast double the benifit, for just waiting a little longer.

anyone know if there's an experience benefit?

So if you wait and get all 3 ...
1st time = +100rep each BG, +1254 honor
Subsequent times = +50rep each BG, +1254 honor
(values are gains you have over individual turnin method)

If you've already done all quests at least once and now you're repeating:

If you turn in each BG, 1 at a time:

Warsong (50 rep)
Arathi Basin (50 rep)
Alterac Valley (100 rep)
1134 honor points (378 honor points for each)

If you turn in For Great Honor:

Warsong (100 rep)
Arathi Basin (100 rep)
Alterac Valley (150 rep)
2388 honor points

For Great Honor's benefits:

Warsong (+50 rep)
Arathi Basin (+50 rep)
Alterac Valley (+50 rep)
+1245 honor points

XP:
"For Great Honor" gives 8300 XP (lvl 54) and 6600 XP (lvl 57 & 59)
I got 3200 XP from Warsong (lvl 54)
If all 3 give 3200 XP that's 9600 XP, which would mean turning them in individually may actually give 1300 XP more than "For Great Honor".

The title's not "For Great XP" :p

u get 2388 honor also so its a great quest for lvl 51-60 :)

Is there a limit to how many times you can turn this in?..i have 10Ab 10WSG and 5AV tokens...and it only shows the 3 quests for each faction..not "for great honor"...any ideas?

...is the only limit. Although Thott has been known to be wrong on the level limit of some quests this quest has some level limit, even if it isn't 51. Once you are high enough level, the quest will be available from the same NPC(s) you have been turning marks in to.

Maybe you haven't done all 3 yet? Does the quest giver have a yellow or blue question mark? If its yellow, you still need to finish one of the 3 regular quests, then you can get great honor quest.

after the new patch "before the storm" there are no longer any people to accept your marks can i no longet turn in this quest if so blizz needs to fix that pl respond to this

Yeah, it seems they pulled all the Warbringers so we can't turn in this quest

that makes no sense why would they take them out. AHHHH!

i have just been on wow website and it looks like the quest for great honor is a waste of time now as the warbringers have been removed due to new pvp reward system wich allows you to buy epic gear for you char using pvp points and tokens (so you dont get your nice big honor rate boost :-(((

Wow the warrbringers missing is a drag. I have 2 completed quests I can't turn in.

They put back in the Warbringers I just got the quest and the AV time takes too long

so can u or can u not do this quest anymore?

you can't currently do this quest anymore. it was removed when the honor system was reworked...HOWEVER!

i have heard rumors about this quest coming back in patch 2.4 (which may come out tomorrow /excited).

the NEW quest will only require ONE mark from EVERY bg, including EotS! i have no clue as to how much honor it gives, but it will be repeatable..the first turn in you do in a day will award gold, the rest will be just honor.

that is...if the rumors are true...the patch notes merely say "new pvp quests added."

  It's true, "For Great Honor is back".
  
  It seems dependent on level for awarding gold and honor, just like the daily PVP quest (in other words, at 70 you get more honor and gold than at 67).
  
  I have turned it in several times today: My priest is lvl 67 and I get 279 honor per turn in. I'm pretty sure at 70 you'd get more.
  
  Also, the first turn in I always got 11k XP. I'm not sure if that only happens on the first turn in, the first turn in each day or what. It's too soon to tell, being the first day of 2.4.
  
  Either way, I always have WAY too many badges and not enough honor, so this is a nice way to get more honor.

  Yeah this quest is back and it can be repeated! At level 70, you get 11G 99S the first time you turn it in. Just becareful though, if you are going for PvP gear then you might want to wait until you get your gear before you turn this quest in.

    Well, that depends on wether it's marks or the honor points you are lacking for the gear, right? =) If you like me have a lot of marks lying around, but don't have too much time to grind honor anymore, you can trade a few for honor to get the items you still need faster.

The honour gained at level 70 is 314 per turnin of 4 marks.

can anyone confirm if you get EXP on subsequent turn ins for pre-70 chars?

  I received no rep points from turning this quest in at lvl 70.
  
  - 1st turn in I got 11g99s + 314 Honor, no rep.
  - 2nd turn in I got 314 Honor only.
  - 3rd turn in I got 314 Honor only, etc.

You only get exp for the first time you turn it in for each level. So at 60 turn in, get exp, then no more exp until you hit 61 and turn it in, and so on.

i cant quite understand y this q is called "for great honor" as all i can get from handing in the 4 tokens is some 344 honor points, that's not "great" honor is not even a little honor.
what's pissed me was reading the posts above that say that they was getting more than 2388 honor for each hand in.

so i was wondering what the point of this q was, who is guna hand in 4 of there hard won tokens for 340 honor? or am i missing something.

Those posts are from years ago, back before the PVP revamp. This quest is updated with 2.4

The honor isn't great, but some people get to the point where they don't need marks any more and just need honor. These new daily quests give people a reason to do various battlegrounds instead of just grinding AV or something

Lets say your grinding over honor because of all those marks you got from lower leveling WSG , AB , and AV...

At this point you can easily join EOS , win and turn in all 3 marks plus 3 from all of the other for over 1000 honor.

This quests exists as a way to get rid of those marks sitting on Bank that you could never find a use for.
