He has just about 25k HP. We two manned him, a prot warrior tanked (L67) and I dps (fury warrior L66). No prob. I first tried to solo him, just to see what he had and burn recklessness got him under 50%  I'm sure any class that can crowd control will be able to solo him. Or any mele that has a few heals will be ok.

Just don't hit his calves - they will ignore you. He can be pulled away from the calves, the tank bow pulled him and the calves kept right on their path and thus were not an issue.

The helm is a sweet fury warrior helm, nice +hit.

ok fear does not work, of course. i learned that the first time.

second time, i went to forge camp: fear, enslaved a felguard legionairre (they can hit for 700-800) and let him tank it. after he had some good aggro i just let loose. gonna try the same strat on the other group quests in nagrand, see if i can solo those too.

If you are a demon lock you can get her with the following strategy:
cast CoW and send felguard to her.
Now constantly heal felguard and as often as possible cast Corruption and Immolate.
This was the only strategy that worked for me.

That also works for the 2 other elites
Make sure you killed all adds before attack her (just to make sure that no add gets angry by mistake)

By the time we got to them he was at about 30%, and the guards just about one shotted him.

    How TO kill banthar (Hunter)

I did this at lv 66 MM specc..

first thing to do: turn off growl on pet
    pop aspect of the cheetah
go pull the fat thing with in  my case aimed shot
then kite him around the way
and dont forget to pop immolation trap for some extra dmg.
and then renew serpent sting,do some multi-shots,arcane. whatevah, just have him at long range..
and ur pet will be stunned, so dont forget to do call pet

it took me 2 tries to do this, when u have the tacts clear, it's very easy, and ofc fun :D
