hiya, just thought i'd post a nice comment . . . one that isn't insulting people :) anyone notice how they reduced the cooldown to two mins? pretty cool eh?

not the best thing to hear as a warlock though, people being able to use this more often :( ahh well, i don't chain fear people anyway :)

  They put fear in the game for a reason. Warlocks are in cloth and take damage easily, fear is a way to stop that. Why would anyone not want to fear?

    I'm a lock with 450 HP SL/SL and I can ensure that we don't take DMG that easily...

This is really nice with 3 mins reduced cooldown. Will be alot more useful in battlegrounds.

Considering the original trinket cost a few gold, 24K+ honor points is a lot in comparison!

Yes, this is horridly expensive. I play maybe 8-10 bgs a week, maybe more and almost all of those in the bonus honor BGs.

Considering the above. I'm guessing it would take me a month to buy this.

I'm not sure that I'll be able to afford this at that rate. The lower cooldown is very nice and the resilience helps but I'd have to get pretty much every other PVP reward piece before I decide to upgrade to this.

I don't think you understand the real reason why this trinket is so much better than the Insignia...
The two minute cooldown is too good to pass up, considering most Arena matches (if you and your opponents are good) last long enough to allow you to use it twice.

Does this trinket get cooldown if you use Insignia of the Horde (The normal one).

if you are able to even equip both of them at the same time, they will share a cooldown anyway so you wouldn't be able to use them back to back, as all like trinkets are

It's a very powerful PVP trinket. Cooldown at 2 minutes and 20 resilience. The cost is right for what it does.

Too much for you? You can still get the older one for about 4k honor.

Price is reduced!

I am getting this one today. Considering I gladly give up powerful trinkets slot for the old pvp trinket the 20K honor is a cheap price for a major upgrade. The CD is important and the 20 resilience cant hurt.

I mean think of the amount of effort other minor upgrades take eg a pvp gem. Took me 3 days of fun in BGs.

this is buffed in 2.1.2

If you PVP, this trinket is a must, especially with the recently reduced cost and improved effect. There is no trinket more worth that valuable slot.

for a marksman hunter, this is a very important trinket, since we're basically dead once we fight a rogue/warrior/ice mage

As a warrior, I use this trinket on Kidney Shots, most forms of roots (Frost Nova, Entangling Roots if Pummel is on cooldown etc.), any stun effect that interrupts my adavantage in a fight and all pally stuns.

I don't use this on Cheap Shots, Repentance or Fear (Because warriors have Berserker Rage and Death Wish if you talent for it). It's sometimes hard to know when there's a good oppotunity to use this trinket. From a warrior stand point, I mostly use this on stuns and roots. Getting out of a Kidney Shot interrupts a rogues battle plan altogether, stopping a pally stun prevents "free damage" done to you and stopping all roots gives you another 12-20 seconds of time you beat your opponent to crap.

Those are dumb reasons to use the trinket. A good rogue will ks u, once you trinket you are now blinded for 10 seconds while the rogue switches targets and smashes your healer. What? The blind is almost over? Unfortunately since you did no action for 7 seconds, you are out of combat, the rogue has walked over to you and performed a vanish sap. Congrats, you've been out of the fight for 20 seconds.

A few questions about this trinket.

1. When using this trinket as well as this (http://thottbot.com/i18846)trinket. Are they on the same cooldown?

2. Does this stop spells from effecting my pet as well? or just myself.

Hopefully this wont sound insulting...
See that large box near the top saying "Shared Cooldowns"... :) Does it list the Insignia? Yes. Therefore they share the same CD.

Also, it doesn't stop spells from landing on you. It merely removes all slow/root effects on you (Fear, Polymorph, frostnova, poison, hamstring, wingclip, kidney/cheap shot). I'm fairly sure some moves (possibly gouge for instance) will not be affected as you cannot activate the trinket while under its effects.
THIS DOESNT PREVENT THE ENEMY REAPPLYING THE EFFECT!
If you trinket to remove hamstring, they can immediately reapply it leaving you with a wasted trinket on CD.

Its also fairly cheap. ~16k of honor, of standard effort in a BG (1k an hour) thats 16hours. Split this into a few days of 2-3hours a day (+the PvP daily of 400 honor) and you can get this in a week like most other gear.
For hardcore/good PvPers (>=1.5k an hour) its even less :D

Grinding this sucker for one purpose and one purpose only.. to kill Archimonde

God pvp is dull in the long run, but this thing is needed for his Fear

Still think its sucks that pvp means that Epic is standard rather than something special on a char... Back to the days where Epic meant something I say

Can this remove effects from heroic bosses in PvE? Any that it can't remove (Shade's polymorph for instance)? How about for Nightbane's fear?

for horde obtainable in hall of legends in ogrimar

got mine 4 days ago. the upgrade on the res is well worth the 40k honor. s4 is not to far off and this is the best thing to spend honor on until s4 hits for all us pvpers. its a huge amount for a casual and they should consider the off sets to replace blues/entry level raid gear first.
