ok people
1) the new sets (4&5) come in three different styles with slightly different stats and different bonuses for all three different specs.
2) you need to collect tokens (that are multi class) from high lv instances to acquire this gear.
3) there are PvP versions of the new sets as well ans they usually just have a lot more stam along with alterations that are useful in various BGs
I hope this clears things up so n00bs will stop arguing about how different pieces don't have X or Z and makes it so n00bs in one spec stop saying that this set will work for them.
Because I'm a dual wielder for over a year now I'll just throw in my two cents:
Dual wielding is the hardests warrior build and it is NOT surely for everyone. It needs time, effort, even more time and many wipes to get stuff you need. To be MS warrior all you need is standard gear with STR/STA/Crit and nice 2H weapon. Equipment of that kind is laying around all Azeroth. Adding to that factor your skill determines how good MS warrior you are/can be.
When it comes to dual wielding, and I mean REAL dual wielding, first thing to remember is that you can forget any item sets. It just won't do. You have to find items which alltogether will grant you bonuses to (not all at once of course in a single item!): STR, AP, AGI, Hit, Crit. STR and AP for damage, AGI for crit chance, armor and Dodge. Crit for increasing crit chance furthermore and Hit to be able to dicrease as low as possible miss rate, which is higher for DW. But that's not all - depending on what do you plan to do with your character you have to possess different items for several occasions - PvP - more STA would be nice, along with STR/AP/Crit. Hit is less important. When you want to raid you have to test your gear not to have too much Hit/Crit because you will draw aggro like hell. I managed to increased once my crit to 50% on Hakkar but what was the point if I took off aggro from the tank in, like 5 secs?
So why it's hard? Quite a few talents and skills to use, not so great HP (which negative effects try to be nullifed by higher dodge/parry), hard to get gear (one item here, two items there, ten thousands wipe on the way to get this AND last but not least constant quarrels about the loot with rogues and hunters).
Beyond that is all about fun :D
I haven't say a WORD about how great warrior am I. Not a single one. Probably because I am not nor there are no tests that can prove that or maybe because I don't give a damn. I just said that I reached ONCE 50%, highly buffed, so you could assume that as a theoretical value, and I told about that value not to prove how great am I but to show that when it comes to raiding there are other factors far more important than naked crit chance. Read with understading boy, if you're capable of it, of course...
I'd like to welcome you to the World of Warcraft, because apparently, you haven't ventured far into it. Fury warriors are for raid/party dps, not saying they can't PvP, but, they will fail in arena. Any rogue with an ounce of skill and equal gear will own a fury war, MS wars are the way to go for PvP. And for the cheapness thing, you try being 4 shot by a MS war who literally used about 3 buttons and auto attack. Rogues are "pussies" with stealth and all that good stuff, Bliz wouldn't have given classes certain abilities if they weren't supposed to be used. Personally, and I think I speak on behalf of most somewhat successful arena teams; I'd rather win and be "cheap" then try to be honorable and have a "good" fight with a war toe to toe. Your next suggestion will probably have a mage fight fair and not blink or frost nova right? And as for your comment about spell casters that suck... If you notice, the top arena teams have a mixture of priests, MAGES, LOCKS, and sometimes DRUIDS!!! OMG wtf are they thinking?! Psh even though they have a 1800+ rating they should know that if they aren't a healing priest that they can't do anything... L2P Noob, your just one of those players that gets pissy when a rogue or another class beats you. We had to learn to get better, now it's a warriors turn.
*Edit*
As for the set, it's pretty crazy. It looks so kickass and fury wars do rape the dmg meter in raids if they have the gear to support it, rage on!

... cos the aquiring of T5 sets haven't even been implemented into the game yet. Sounds like someone is craving attention... (PS: read what i just said at least twice before posting some smart-alec reply. Thnx.)
if you even get far enough to get tier 5 you either are going to get the tank set or are fury and get the dps set. No ms warrior will get that.
Ms is for pvp. Fury is for raiding dps.
Agreed. In my guild there are 4 Warriors who are not Protection. Me (Fury) and 3 MS Warriors. All of the MS Warriors never come to Kara/GL/Mag because they know that they can get better gear from Arena, which happens to be PvP.
The problem you guys have is that you think this way:
Fury = Dual Wield
Arms = 2hander
It is true that the Fury tree is more friendly to dualwielding warriors and that the Amrs tree is awesome while using a 2handed weapon. BUT!
A player with a decent 2hander and lots of crit/AP gear might as well spec Fury and go slam/flurry in instances for massive DPS.
Also, a player with 2 decent 1hander (where the mainhander is slow) and some + hit might as well spec Arms and go PvP and do really well.
Here is the Tier 6 warrior set (just pics, no stats)
Tier 6
But w/ less profanity lol. Thottbot is great because it is so thorough, unlike Wowwiki u never get the "nobody has bothered to say anything about this' kinda crap. but because ppl r inherently stupid and most of the time the entire thread is "i would fukin pwn w/ this" or "its a hunter item-- beastmastery FTW" and half the time ppl pretend to try to be useful and give u wrong coords (has happened more than once :-/) every now and again u get a good post, but hardly ever. this is just one of the many screwed up pages. hate to be pessimistic but its true.

You get this set from SSC (Serpentshrine Cavern) and TK (Tempest Keep).
For one you started off as if you knew nothing about the Fury Build warrior by saying that AP/Crit suits an Arms warrior but not a Fury Warrior. Open your eyes, lets say your 2 hander is going for 700 per strike, and dual is going for (MH)450+(OH)120=570 in a fight of 30, seconds dual wielding at 2.0 sec weapons we'll get off 13 strikes (including the dual wielding penalty) at 40% Crit 5-6 of those hits will crit
2 handers at 3.6 per strike will get off 8.33 hits. With 40% crit 3.33 crit strikes.
For those that don't know when calculating time from DW strikes, you only go by the MH speed, because the off hand works on its own clock and has to start after Main Hand swing and will only effect or slow down the "2.0" speed of the main hand if someone is dumb enough to have a slower off hand weapon.
Dual Weild Crit from MH: 900
900 x 5 =4500 Damage from Crits
+
570 x 8 =4560 Damage from Normal Strikes
Damage in 30 sec = 9060
2Hander Crits: 1400
1400 x 3 = 4200 Damage from Crits
700 x 5 = 3500 Damage From Normals
Damage in 30 Sec= 7,700
And that is only counting white damage, not even included skill strikes like MS and BT.
Now where he does have a point is this which is true the bonus to this gear has does help MS more as far as the rage reduction, cuz we always have rage for BT, but it just gives us more to perform Heroic Strike while we are waiting, and also the bonus to Overpower is big for them, since we can't use it if we are in fury stance, I've even tried to swap stances and use it after being dodged and it won't let me, scandelous.
Now last but not least the final point to prove that Fury/BT Warriors severly need attack power.
Our BT Depends on our AP and only our AP to be effective, clearly states that the strike causes damage equal to 45% of your ATTACK POWER
so how could you fix your fingers to type some stupid ish like that, tell you what playa, don't try to school us on being a warrior when you have a single track mind and haven't even tasted what it could be like.
1 more point to DW'ers, with 2handed weapons we have double the chance of extra stats, weapon buffs, and enchants, simply put, we cant be faded.
you warriors are so stupid when it comes to fury and arms.ARMS>fury in pvp period.Having MS then going in fury to get enrage and deathwish pwns anything fury can do.Not to mention with axe or polearm spec you get 5% more crit right there. Yea in pve dmg fury does beat arms your right.Fury wins by alot. But arms is a pvp build and will be better then fury no matter what.
There are always exceptions to that rule. While it is true Fury = PVE and Arms = PVP, there will be some fury warrs that can beat arms warrs. I'm 17/44 and I've beaten arms warrs before, but I've also had my ass handed to me by them. It depends on the individual player.
For example, I've 1v1'd a 70 mage with kara epics, and won. Four times. She was an awful mage, nothing more nothing less.
I am a 69 Fury warrior in blue gear, I get owned in PVP. At 70 I plan to get the whole PVP armor set because our guild will not be ready to raid for a while. Can anyone suggest some really good PVP warrior builds, also can someone suggest some tactics for melee combat (how to get a hold of the hunter who keeps wingcliping and shooting me or the clothy that fears and dots me)? What stats should i be increasing for PVP'ing?
Your best bet against a fearing Clothie is simple: Berserker Rage. Againsta Lock this is your favorite ability. Simply use it whenever they first try and fear.
For a Hunter I use another simple strategy. Imp Intercept Works great here btw, as well as Locks. If you can't get the first charge off don't worry, simply intercept and hamstring. If they are MM and they scatter shot and attempt to run away simply Intimidating Shout as soon as you can and run back up to them. If they are BM and they pop Bestial Wrath, you one and only thing to do is dps them down like crazy. Nothing else is going to save you, they are immune to everything you do for the next 18 seconds. Lucky for you Imp Intercept is 20 sec cooldown, so as soon as Bestial Wrath wears off Intercept them and hope that you have enough health left to rape them.
P.S. For Warlocks Deathwish is also a very helpful Ability. Use Berserker Rage the first fears, and after that wears and you get feared simply use Deathwish. If they can manage to survive through your Deathwish never fear: Berserker Rage is back. But if they live through that, which they should have been dead long ago, then you're basically screwed. Happy PvPing ˆˆ
Ok, I am a Warrior myself and this is what I do- simply use battle stance against non-casters, berserker for casters. Battle stance gives you overpower (which is only good agains non-casters since they are the ones that dodge)and if you have talents in overpower you can do nice dmg with it. Berserker stance offers Pummel with is a very good spell agains casters ( pummel interrupts casting), and it comes with a nice thing called berserker rage which makes you immune to fear.
You should ask some guys to duel you that are clothies at then get your fury PVP tactics from there. I have a fury war and never lose to a lock they are fish bait to me. One good fear it just makes it worse i'm coming back with intercept right after i snap out of it with Death Wish. You have two counters that come stock with fury warriors you should never be feared to death man get with the game! SMASH CLOTHIES... if you figure out how to beat a mage tho let me know.
Hunters... well you're in trouble if they are resistant to hamstring or shout. If you can slow them down you're pretty much dead in the water its a cheese class sorry bout that buddy :)
Just combind this with Lionheart executioner and some good enchants, get some good greaves since the armor doesnt provide any and kill everyone that walks up while looking like you could make even ragnaros cry on first sight of you. But seriously unless your an arms fury hybrid this is seemingly more benefitial to arms being as we have better use of overpower. You combind that power with blood frenzy and lionheart proc and you will pwn.
For out dpsing rogue, mages, hunter and druids in PVE you wanna go Fury, Ive got decent gear (all blues, 2 epics) with
http://www.thottbot.com/i28944 MH
and
http://www.thottbot.com/i28416 OH
and i can totally rip the shit through rogues DPS that are epiced out with kara shit..
But, i was also MS Death Wish for a long time, as i was doing some serious PVP grinding.. thus, if i were to be PVPing hardcore, i would spec for MS Death Wish with my 2h Mace http://www.thottbot.com/i29138
So basically
PVP = MS Death Wish
PVE = BT fury
Obviously in my experiences a fury warrior can rip the shit through some clothies in PVP, but if you come across a MS warrior or something heavy like a druid, its gonna be a tough fight as he will be able to do alot more burst damage, while with fury it takes a while to get started (Rampage and such)...
Enhoy ^^
why do you think The set gives these bonuses?
2: Your Overpower ability now grants you 100 attack power for 5 sec.
4: Your Bloodthirst and Mortal Strike abilities costs 5 less rage.
a fury warr has enough rage already and he doesnt collect rage like an arms warr and the 2:overpower ability......
overpower is an arms ability.
the answer to my question is because this set is specially for MS specced arms warrs!
sigh... by Woundedheart, Score 0.00
since when was overpower an arms ability?
Since Improved Iverpower is in the arms tree. Overpower without the talent to add 50% chance for it to crit is kinda just ok.
Yeah Overpower is ONLY an arms ability since Improved Overpower is all the way down on the third branch of the arms tree. Just like cleave is only a fury ability... (massive sarcasm)

has anyone even gotten this full set yet?
my friends all say noone has
ofc ppl have this set your friend is just an idiot... Guild leader of Nihilum has full set of it and he has t6 gear. They have cleared every raid instance in the game.
dangit people quit arguin over a game gosh, who cares if u can beat a arms warrior or u can beat a fury warrior, we dont care, if u like it just take it (warriors only) just stop ur nonsensful giberish and get bak to talkin bout this set rather tellin wat talent warrior should get it, fury arms i dont care just stop this nonsensful giberish and get bak to talkin bout the set9not i have this and yada yada yada or just tell how good this is or sumthin but dont say how ur so good wit it
not only did i drule over the sight of this gear, i nerly killd myself because its not out yet. this is the best looking shit i have ever seen. cant wait to get it
Umm dude, the destroyer gear IS out and has been for a few months now :P
Someone mentioned to me that T4 was a pretty good fury armor set, but what do you guys think? I personally think that T5 would be better o.0
What kind of boots are those that the very first picture has on
It ain't that great, i got like 8354 armor
Yes, because armor is the first stat you look for on your dps gear.
Few comments about this set, so here's my five cents. As a fury warrior, the only piece here that I desire are the shoulders. T5 dps shoulders paired with the new BoJ bought Furious Deathgrips are my best bet at finding a true dps upgrade to the Ragesteel shoulders/gloves due to the set bonus. I'm saving arena points for the S3 pants, and I am a 375 Blacksmith/Armorsmith so Bulwark of the Ancient Kings would arrive long b4 the T5 dps chest. I also have Engineering 376 for the Furious Gizmatic Goggles, so no T5 dps hat for me either.
The set bonus on this truly supports a sword spec MS/flurry warrior. However, unless she's got the Merciless Glad's sword or Twinblade of the Phoenix, it would be hard to support that build in a raid setting. T5 tokens are all about raid progression. Be as self-supporting as you can with your gear, thereby allowing your guildies a better shot at gearing up so you can all progress together.
For pure PvE the 2 piece set effects the worst effect you could ask for since if your deep fury your never going to go into battlestance to overpower for the 100 ap as the disruption to a fury dmg cycle isnt even made up by the AP bonus, which goes as soon as it comes.
Getting 100 AP just like that for using Overpower is not bad.
It could have been 10 seconds or something instead of 5, but it's not a bad set bonus.
If you use this set you are likely a Fury Warrior on the way to do some nasty dps. Then most likely you use a 17/44/0 build which means you get 10% extra attack power when you are in "Beserkerstance" plus the 3% more crit just be in that stance.
Who in their right mind would be stuck in "Battlestance" to do overpower :) to get 100 attack power???
Then you might say.. Well I am a MS warrior, then I would say do som PVP to get some gear as it is more suitable for MS.
The 2 set bonus is crap, the 4 set however is alright.
Even if youre MS speced for pve dps, shouldnt you still be fighting in berserker stance either way?
