Saying respawn rate is quick is fairly underestimatig tbc, the respawn of the boss is like 7 sec :p

just run up to  Invasion Point: Annihilator (53,27) and you will see a big guy standing infront on the portal entrance thing....kill a couple of the little mobs round him so you don't pullem when u attack him, after her is dead just get into the middle of the portal close it and then run afap the way you got in ...easy

I used far sight to locate the position of the dude and circled around the left edge and closed up to him on the left. Killed several mobs including 2 cannons. Just drop down stoneclaw and grounding totem and concentrate on the cannon, deal with the add after. Pulled him alone and hes a wimp. Grabbed the key and dropped another stoneclaw to attract and adds, while clicked on the portal. Shift to wolf and ran like heck.

Easy enough

Just watch out for his flame wave... don't stand in it. And make sure the wanderers around him are dead.

You can only click on the portal from the front, for those of you who killed the guy 50 times turned around to stick the freaking key in and could never find where to put it.

I was looking for where to put the key so many times and couldn't find it.  Took me about 12 corpse runs to figure out you can only click on it from the front.  And once you have the key you don't have to kill him every time to be able to use it.

Thank you Blizz for making another easy quest extremely difficult for us realists out there.

Fast respawn rate on everything around here, be careful :) things that kill slow like protection pally might have trouble with this

Ez just keep a eye out for pats and dont stay at one spot to long...

Enslaved, pulled away from the trash mobs (and he's not half-bad at killing them, either), had him stay, fel domination and summon your demon of choice. Not only has he killed some of the trash mobs, but he'll have taken damage in the process and (if you do it right) you'll take him down in no time flat.

Soloed 61 Holy Spec Priest

Trick was follow along the wall and kill everything you see coming near him.  Thats a bunch of fel guards, 2 saw blades, and a succubus.  Then a few of the little buggers.  Dying sucks in the area as well because of their respawn times.  Also, standing inside the gateway can get you killed as some of the creatures spawn out of it.  Regardless I died 6 times before completion with many random obscenities yelled at the screen.  Also, the bug where he runs back to his spot after 10 seconds is still occuring on the occasion.  If anything its worth more to skip this quest.

this was easy i soloed 59 unholy dk just go up the cliff on the side and wipe out 5 lackeys then nail the guy

Coords are correct above. Depending on which way you come will determine how many mobs you will fight. I came in from the air. I landed at 52.6/30.6 and fought my towards Arix Amal. Be warned all creatures have crazy fast spawn rate, especially the cannons. Anyway, I am level 63 Hunter. I sent pet after Arix once I cleared mob (some of them twice due to spawn rate). I alternated between concussive and arcane shots killed him got key. I then proceeded to close gate and did close it. I did die right after closing the gate the mobs had respawned. As I was being attacked I knew I would die so I ran and jumped off the cliff on west side of gate so I could rez in a safe place lol (right near where the fel hounds are for shizz work quest). Good luck, I hope you dont die. Get help is my reccomendation but, it can be soloed as you can see by other posts.

the burning legion gate key tooltip no longer shows that you can "use" it. however, you still can.  just right click on it, then click on the portal.
