For those without coordinates, there's a bluff that's visible on the map just northeast of Oshu'gun, south of the road.  Tusker is at the top of the bluff, not visible until you go part way up.  You may have to clear through a lot of bull elekks to get to her.

Did this solo at level 66, enslaved a level 68 Elite Felguard from Forge Camp: Fear, make sure to hit him with curse of shadows, and ya better have an epic mount otherwise ya may spend too much time getting to her.

Felguard hit her for 800-1000 and downed her in about a minute or so, after that I had my Felguard attack a far away Elek looted her and ran like hell till my Felguard despawned.

By the way, if your Felguard breaks you're probably dead meat, he hit me for 1000-1500 and has two instant strike attacks that do weapon damage plus extra damage.

      Tusker
      Coordinates: (44,65)

      Information:
This quest is super easy if you have the ability to kite. Simply clear out a kite path from the mound to the road, then kite Tusker along the road to Telaar; the guards will aggro and kill her within seconds. However, if you cannot kite, you will need to bring at least two friends along. She is very hard if you cannot kite.

      Tusker's Stats:
      • 32710 Health
      • 6197 Armor
      • 1024-1444 Damage

If you have any questions, I'd be more then happy to answer them.

      Good Luck! :-)

In short YES we do care if you soloed it.

As a lvl 70 BM hunter, I couldn't solo her.  Maybe I'm pathetic, but she's immune to:
        Growl
        Intimidate
        Scatter Shot
        Freeze Trap
        Snake Trap

Basically, you can't crowd control her at all, which means you have to be able to take her hits and do plenty of damage.

Thanks for making a sensible post. It is good to know if people could solo it. Although, I must add, don't like those people who brag about soloing it and tell how easy it is to look cool. It is however very welcome if they can tell how hard it is. So besides the info on whether it is soloable by a certain class, it is VERY useful if also some tactics are described if this is necessary to solo a mob.

So a post on whether some mob can be solo'ed should do either of the following:
        1) Simply say it can be solo'ed (preferably with class). This is enough if ANYone could do it.
        2) Say whether it can be solo'ed, if a certain strategy is required (like kiting) and/or how difficult a mob generally is. (Would anyone of your class with decent skill be able to kill it)
        3) If you use potions or anything that is absolutely required (such as luck), mention it.

In short: Based on your info anyone (with at least basic skills) should be able to solo it using your info if their class can do it.

I am a 70 feral druid and soloed this guy today.

First,I suggest you better have these:

1). Major HP pots (or better ones) x2
2). Major Mana pot (or better ones) x1
3). the UI that shows your mana while you're in Cat Form(ex. Druid Bar)
4). Enable the auto self-cast in the interface options so that you can heal yourself without changing your target

OK, wear on all your tank gears.
My gears are not  good (half blue half green no epic) , with MoTW buffed:

        HP:11154    AP:1181  Crit:24.38%
        AC:11180    dodge:22.23%

Going to kill a mob that life is 3 times to me :D

Stand 30 yards away from her, cast Starfire and Moonfire and switch to bear form. With Demoralizing Roar she damages me 450-500 each hit. At start use mangle and Maul, only use swipe when you have more rages( say, more then 50). And I used a trinket got
from the Hellfire Peninsula goblin's quest that increased dodge by 192 for 10 secs while you use it(that increased my dodge to 32.37%).

When your life is about 60% (hers is about 70%), start using everything you can cast to consume your rage. When your life is 50%, use Bash (if bash missed or dodged/parryed I will suggest you run away and try again)

-> switch back to human form
-> run away and drink a HP pot
        -> cast Regrowth and Rejuvenation
-> switch back to bear form before she hits you.
(I know this may be hard because the global CD and lags, but it's ok if you got 1 or 2 hits before you switch to bear form)

So now your life is about 90% (And with 2 HOTs!) and hers is 70%. Now keep fight same way before.

While the Bash's CD is 30sec, start save your rage by only using mangle(and Demoralizing Roar if the debuff is gone). While the CD is 15sec and your rage is alomst full , cast Frenzied Regeneration and you will have a bonus 2500 life in 10 secs (during this time, only cast mangle if you have enough rage to consume).

When the Frenzied Regeneration is over , consume your rage by casting everything and Bash again. Now your hp is about 50-60% and hers is about 50%,this time the pots are still in CD so you just run away and cast the two HOTs and then switch to CAT FORM (yes, time to kite).

This fat moves slow so with feral spec talent (cat +30% at outdoor) your speed is a bit faster then her. DO NOT forget to cast Faerie Fire while it's CD is over! Or you will leave combat and have to do this again! So you better clean the way to north road before you start to fight(kill the mobs but do not loot/skin so the corpse will disappear slowly, so are the repops). You can cast Faerie Fire even if you are not toward her, so the kite should be very easy.

Then just kite her along the road(no pat mobs,it's very safe) to north-west.

After like 1~2min kite(use Innervate and mana pot during this time). Turn around and fight again (The CD of Bash is over and Frenzied Regeneration is one minute left). Remember your life is about 50% and so is hers.
(you can wait your pot's CD but that is not necessary)

        While your life is 20%:
-> Cast bash and do the heal thing (use HP pots if you can)
-> do the same thing(Watch the Bash's CD and cast Frenzied Regeneration)
        -> Bash again.

This time I dun think you can heal yourself because you do not have enough mana.
(you are feral spec and with full feral gears)
So just use your Heavy Netherweave Bandage and switch to bear form.
(for me I healed like only 4-5 ticks)

After 10-15 secs, she will die and your quest is DONE! For a 70 druid I got like 22 gold and a nice Idol, sweet!

Hope this helps for all druids that cant not find groups to do this quest.

        WARLOCKS SOLO:

(Did this as Affliction Spec, Any Spec Warlock can do this trick)

At Forge Camp: Fear, I Enslaved a lvl 67-68 Elite Felguard Legionnaire and hopped on my 60% speed horse and ran all the way to Tusker, I had to kill 2 Elleks that were blocking the path then I sent the Legionnaire after Tusker and the Legionnaire had 2 minutes left until the Enslave wore off. With the Legionnaire hitting Tusker I laid all my dots and used life drain, Repeat this until he dies (Lay dots and life drain over and over) The Legionnaire didnt even die, he had - much life left after Tusker died. I couldn't find anyone to help me kill him so I tried soloing with this trick, it works even with 60% speed mount. Right after you enslave the legionnaire you have to make him kill that thing that squirts poison out that he stands by otherwise it will take to much time trying to run away from it with it hitting ur legionnaire. After its killed then hop on ur mount and take off!

EDIT: You can also use this same trick, Enslaving the Legionnaire to defeat Banthar and Durn the Hungerer SOLO!

only downside is, if he breaks your enslave, you're pretty much dead.

holy shit, as a freaking ret paladin and a bear druid we couldn't take her down, both level 65.

Okay, see, the druid took aggro right? He had 10,000 armor and health, and I had around 6500, so I thought we were good right?

WRONG. The bear's health went down about 2/3's of my healing on the bar (which my healing is 1850) and so basically in 12 hits he was DEAD. I tried to lay on hands him but the elephant KILLED him with a massive like 2500 crit and then killed me becuase as he died, my lay on hands healed me at full health. Kind of sucked... but, we got her down to about 75% percent health.

To tell you now, any level 65-67's problably want to go ahead and get three people, get some potions, and wait for a LONG fight.

Lol, I would suggest a healer, becuase the real problem with this guy isn't his health, it's the fact that he has 2.5 attack speed and can hit for about 1250 damage. In about 25 seconds he'll do 12,500 damage, easily nock somebody out...

I equipped my healing gear for +Damage to my spells and then Consecration kited Tusker back and forth on the road (To the Consortium place and back to Telaar) until she was on 49% HP when I let the guards kill her.

+15% Movement speed from Pursuit of Justice is a must, that allows you to run SLIGHTLY faster than her. Be sure to stop every now and then so that you don't run away from her completely so she'll reset.

Whenever I needed to turn around (Those damn Murkblood pats almost screwed me over) I simply Hammer of Justiced Tusker and ran straight through (and also judged a Command on her so she'd take additional Holy Damage) and then continued kiting.

I used the highest rank Consecration until I was on about 20% mana when I used the rank 1 one (It cost so little mana so that my Mana regened up seeing as I had Blessing of Wisdom on) and then used the Highest level of Consecration again.

Took around 15 mins but as I had no friend online (It was in the middle of the night) I figured I'd try doing this and it worked! The guards at Telaar killed her when she was at 49% and I got the loot.

              Have fun.

Soloed as a near full S1 geared shockadin - about 10k health and mana, 14.5k armor, 700 spelldamage.  I self buffed with some stamina and intellect scrolls that I had laying around, and ate some +stam/spi food.  She has around 40k health and hits for around 400 on plate.

I judged seal of the crusader, and after that spammed seal of righteousness.  Stunned her with Hammer of Justice, popped my spelldamage trinket, popped Divine Illumination for the guaranteed crit, and hit her with Holy Shock.  I stoneformed out of her bleed effect early on, and spammed Consecration and Holy Shock whenever the cooldown was up.  When I was down to about half health, I switched to Concentration aura, healed myself with a Holy Light, and went back to work.  Ended up healing myself twice during the fight, and popped a mana pot near the end.  I probably could have opened with Avenging Wrath, but I wanted to keep my bubble in case I needed it.  No bubble, no Lay on Hands, no kiting, one nice healer libram for me.

I died as an lvl 70 Affl Lock w/ +1100 shadow and 9800 stam. I drew aggro away from my void and Tusker started pwning me.

Then I went ahead and took up a suggestion on wowiki to enslave an Elite Felguard (lvl 68) and used him to tank Tusker easily. Careful not to draw aggro away from the Felguard, and this fight would be cake. 5 times as easier w/ this strategy.

She is not immune to Intimidate. I used it on her and it worked. Also my Freeze Trap and Snake Trap worked on her too.

I'm a lvl. 70 troll enhance shaman (14/47/0). Currently, I wear 3/5 of the Seer's Linked set (chest, head, and shoulders) and epic bracers & gloves. The rest of my armor are greens. Lastly, I wield one epic weapon, with the off-hand being a green.

Having said all that, I COULD NOT SOLO IT. And if an enhance shaman can't do it, I seriously doubt a resto or element shaman can pull it off either.

I flew on my epic mount to the top of the hill where Tusker was, and laid down my usual totems (Earth Elemental, Searing, Healing Stream, Grace of Air). I proceeded to DPS her while having my Earth Ele tank. Even after healing my tank quite a few times and consuming a super mana pot, I only got the elite down to approx. 25% before my tank bit the dust. I got her down another 5% health before I had to start running.

In the end, I got saved by a lvl. 70 night elf who just happened to be flying by and chose to finish Tusker off for me.

Just soloed it today as a lvl 67 resto shaman, easy, as resto you have imba healing, just keep you earth elemental alive and drop searing totem and do some LB while the elemental have enuff health to let you do some dps.

I tried to solo this as a lvl 70 holy paladin. Just changed from prot to holy, so dont any good gear.  But with 800+ healing i couldnt take her. I only did one try. And got help.

But i think a holy paladin is able to take her. I didnt use bubble and if i did i would have saved me some time. The problem is that she is doing so much dmg in each hit so you have to focus on healing all the time.

I uses seal of the crusader first. And the seal of vengeance. Got it up until 5 stack and startet to heal myself. Then she will take dmg even when you are healing. Also throw cons a couple of times.

If you can manage to do that long enough.. you will probably take her down.. But in some time you will run out of mana.

                - So as a holy paladin you should get someone to help.

Since i was prot pally until 70 i know i could have taken her even when i was 68.
The tactics then is to use seal of light. And also judgde her with seal of light. When you are getting close to 10% hp.. bubble and use bandage. Dont use your mana on healing. as prot you dont have much, and you need it.

Use Holy shield all the time. And use blessing of sanctuary.

                - A prot paladin is able to solo her.

A retri paladin will have the same problem as a holy paladin. Will take too much dmg. As a retri you dont use shields and she will kill you fast.

                - As a retri paladin you should get someone to help.
