If you are Alliance, you -can- get to it. PVE server or not (just a lot easier than pvp).

When you get the the Gold Road where the Horde guards are at the South end of Ashenvale, go over towards the left. There is an unguarded passage through the fence into the Barrens.

Easy to avoid the npc pvps, just be careful of other players if you are on a PVP server.

haha yes I'm Horde and me and my 'friends' have a policy. If its alliance on Horde territory, kill. If its alliance on contested territory and is within 5 lvls of you, kill. Otherwise, dont kill.

  if it's in the wrong place... kill it... with extreme prejudice... if it is dumb enough to make it into the barrens, WHICH THEY CAN"T DO ACCIDENTLY, then they have worked at being dum and deserve to die

    My policy is any horde that I can kill die, no matter where. and alliance going to Barrens isn't dumb, we actually can do and have a lot of quests there...and at least on Deathwing theres as many alliance as horde there so its not like we're in alone :)

      That's a stupid policy. Im a Horde player and believe me you aren't safe in the barrens om frostmane, although i wont atack you and I'll discourage people form atacking you. Im called Portak and I' on frostmane. Add me.

    They may just be trying to get the black-skinned windserpent that's there. yanno, like my friend is doing. (as it's the only black-skinned one outside of the expansion).
