    I am a priest.
I am a shadow priest and I will never change to holy due to PvP purpose.

And I agree with you that the Dreadmist Raiment belongs to to the Warlock class.

After all the priest got the Devout set which is superb for priest.

The only time priest should roll is if the Warlock already got the item and it is an upgrade for the priest.

If and it may happen often that if the Warlock has the full set or he/she already got item, then the Warlock should give others a chance, like me, 70% amor still green.

    So priority:

    1. Warlock
    2. Shadow Priest/Priest
    3. Mage

If you disagree, please let all of us share your ideas and comments.

I totally agree with this being Warlock priority first. This is our only one to get, as for priests can roll for two, so I agree that a priest should only roll for this if there are no lock's or the lock already has that item. I have 2 pieces of dreadmist and on the last 4 drops that came along in Scholo a priest rolled on it and won. What makes it worse is that they already had parts of their devout set so they are going to throw away the dreadmist item as soon as they get their part of the set for it. VERY annoying for that to happen imo

I realise that no one is reading this (probaby) since Im about.. oh.. a year too late! ha!

But over this past year Ive played a priest, warrior, rogue and now druid to 60. And every time I see Shadow priests come on here and say "hey I do dmg too!" I turn the digital page and let another tear drop on the floor.

I played a "healbot" for 6 months straight, and honestly I loved it. End game for an MMO is never for oneself. It is always the group, the whole, before personal gain. No one is going to get any loot out of MC unless a whole raid goes. The reasoning for having Discipline priests over Shadow priests is the same thinking in giving your MT all the Might drops first. Im not saying I agree with that, but its a similiar principle.

But, just for fancy, lets talk about Shadow Priest dmg. Lets take the priests most power Shadow dmg spell, mindblast.. add in a shadow word pain AND a mindflay. How much dmg is that at 60?? Maybe 1500-1700?? And it takes roughly 4 to 5 seconds to cast all that.

Mage: PoM, Pyroblast, Fireblast, Cone of Cold.. thats roughly... oh... 4k+ dmg, in 3 seconds. Not to mention that in BGs a mage can simply jump around, instant AE, and deal more dmg than anything else.

Fancy me if you feel my numbers are incorrect.

Since there are so few healing classes for each faction (3 per faction - 2 for Alliance since Paladins never heal!), Healing is the most valuable ability in either pve or pvp.

I lvl'd my druid using feral and now Im full restoration for BGs, and honestly, I heal the &%(*$*&@ out of my BG members.

Priests are not mages who can heal, no more than Paladins are warriors who can heal. Just like army medics, or army engineers, every class has a job... not everyone is supposed to run in and kill.

      Kudos

So mages have generally been considered the dps masters of both pve and pvp (spec dependent), however i'm a 60 shad priest with both Devout and dreadmist gear and to be honest i much prefer the dreadmist in pvp, when ya getting smacked around by melee it makes it very difficult to let any spells off and to be honest a 350 damage shield is nothing. As far as damage is concerned LMAO i pwn mages in BG's. sure there is the occasional mage that will take me down 1 on 1 in pvp if they have the jump.
However, although most mages can let off some cruel dps, shad priests have some crazy advantages. EG. pyschic scream, shackle undead, mind control. Not to mention worse case scenario WE CAN HEAL OURSELVES and switch back to dps with nothing more than a mana pot. SO in conclusion i have to say in regards to pvp, I'd go shad priest with dreadmist gear any day.

P.S don't mistake me i have never out rolled a warlock for a single piece, nor would I.

Im a mage. and in some cases the mage should come before the priest. i solo most of the time and im mainly int/stam so this set would basically rock. i also major in all the resistances, and the fleeing thing, would just be a sick add on ;)
