this drops off of Antu'sul the boss in the cave that spawns the basilisks. The other one(Jang'thraze the protetor) drops off of the chief. I have the protector and i saw the deflector drop but some1 else im my guild got it. I am postive that this is where these swords drop. The combination of these two swords is Sul'thraze the lasher and does 52 dps with a chance on hit to Strike an enemy with the rage of Sul'thraze. Lowers target's strength by -15 and deals 90 to 210 Shadow damage with an additional 125 damage over 15 seconds and requires lvl 50.

i got this sword first time when farming gold in zf with my warlock friend. after we killed all bosses i sold it to vendor. next run i got other sword, but could't get first 1 back from vendor because vendors reset with entering dungeons. it is not that i wanted to use it since i'm rogue, but epic 1 is worth more than 2 blue ones together. i sopke to GM, but they said that i'd have to use item retun that you can use only once pre account and pay the price that vendor gave me for the sword. i'm not stupid to use this return since i cant even use this sword and it could happen to me that i needed it once. that is all i have to tell. Guess what, you don't have to equip both weapons to turn them into Sul'thraze. All you have to do is right click either one and turn it into a 2H epic. Im a paladin, paladins cannot duel-wield, therfore there is no way you are required to equip both weapons at the same time.

This dropped for me last night on my umpteenth grind through ZF. I am kind of getting sick of that place I have done it so many times waiting for these swords to drop. A hunter NEED rolled it along with me, but I beat him out and he was pissed ;) This sword isn't quite as high DPS as my old 2H but I can carry an extra couple thousand armor shield and that makes all the difference. I'm loving it. As sick as I was getting of ZF, it's all behind me now! Well... until I go back to get the Protector.

Honestly this item sucks for hunters and is meant for real melee classes. Hunters are NOT supposed to melee because they use ranged weapons. The only melee weapons hunters should use are ones with good stats, not on-chance melee procs. Just because this is epic does not mean it is a great weapon for everyone.

I was just doing this place on my mage with a PuG, and this dropped, my group consisted of
53 Hunter (helping rogue) 42 rogue 42 mage (me) 46 huntard 42 holydin Now just GUESS who needed it, yes thats right, the hunter needed it as well as the rogue, yes thats right, the MELEE weapon with PARRY RATING. He claimed he needed it because its more dps and better than his other weps, his weps were something of the monkey and a quest blue with crit rating. I urge all of you out there to take caution inviting huntards. My main is a 70 hunter and i know that melee weapons are just for the stats, and if you are a hunter reading this, dont be stupid, dont take a tank wep or from some melee class -.- If you want to spam him, his name is Badasshunter on Hellfire realm :P

I got both of these swords last night in 2 runs with my guild mates lvl 80 hunter and lvl 43 priest I'm a Lvl 43 Pally and they didnt need them so i got both now just waiting for lvl 50 to combind them name is thetankster on onxiya server my guild is the coolest they run us anytime we ask and dont have to pay for their prof. like enchanting BS LW its all free to the guild members by the way i have a lvl 72 hunter and lvl 80 dk so if anyone whats to join a graet guild look me up

I just looted this on my second run today, a friend is boosting me. The run before this I looted Jang'thraze (the other part).
Pretty sick. I feel like one of those trolls who lie all over Thottbot but seriously, I am completely honest. Try your luck people, just might get reaaal lucky like I did! Bad thing is, I'm a rogue. Can't use the awesome sword they turn into, but I can, and will use these bad-boys to dualwield and RP! :)
