I wanted to try sword/fist weapons becuz i thought the speed of fists would make up for my slower sword. Or is it better to just keep a dagger for your off-hand?

where does one purchase fist weapons?? and what is the level requesite for using them?
No, as far as I can tell with my druid, you can train in fist weapons, but you can never equip the off-hand weapon, so it's useless.
Also, the weapons dealer behind the entry building to Darnassus sells fist weapons -- brass knuckles and claws.
I have fist weapons trained, I did it at a waaaay low level. Now they don't show up on my skills list. I can confirm I have them trained because the wep master in Darnassus with the already trained filter shows them to me. Yesterday when the Celebras thing dropped in Maraudon I the wep was red to me (unusable). Did Blizzard nerf this?

for the druids out there who are thinking of using fist weapons.....Dont. your better off using your bear form and using your paws instead of using fist weapons
why i can learn fist weapon but cant use it? can i learn dual wield with a shaman? or its bugged. im lvl 50 the fist weapon shows "fist weapon" in white but i get the msg that i can t dual wield yet...
help plz
Well, it is sort of obvious that fist weapons need to be ' nerfed " as:
1. They are quite unuseful when higher lvl 2. Bugged madness because when you train for them, you still can't use them. =) Ill post this on the General Forum at www.worldofwarcraft.com Creator Lvl 38 Gnome Mage Boulderfist and Proud
So apparently, according to everyones input, Horde learn Fist Weapons in Orgrimmar,... except im at Sayoc & Hanashi right now and they dont have the option to learn it.
I'm a rogue so I know Im supposed to be able to learn Fist's... is it learnt from a different NPC?
What about Rogue's?
I remember long ago having the option to train Fist Weapons, now I do not have it anymore, maybe the recent patch bugged it or something, but rogues should be able to learn Fist Weapons right?
I have a question and I haven't really been able to decipher an answer from these posts. I am a lvl 38 Night Elf Hunter. I am trained in dual wield but not in fist weapons. If I train in fist weapons, can I use a fist weapon in my off hand and a one handed sword in my main hand? Thanks...
I went and got myself one of these one-hand fist weapons with my shaman to check if I could wear it on my off hand but alas I could not saying I cannot dual wield. So if you have the dual wield skill then yes you can wear it on one hand and have another weapon in the other since it'd act like any other 1h weapon. Of course you're gonna have to abide by the main hand, one hand, off hand rules.
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=9489 is the fist weapon I got. It is surprisingly powerful when you put rockbiter on it. A lv51 shaman using rockbiter 6 made this thing just shy of being as powerful as http://www.thottbot.com/?i=11935 with the same weapon enchant. Basically made the thing 15 levels higher, so I wouldn't count out using these.
The "offhand" specified fist weapons are reduced when you duel weild. They should ither have it where the weapon damage is reduced for the posted ammount or fix the damage on the "offhand" specified weapon. It would seem better that way instead of a damage ammout that dosnt match up to the damage on the weapon should be changed to in one of those ways.
