Can you make a soul stone and just give it to your friends so they can ressurect themselves also?

Is it possible to bind a party members soul to the stone and just keep it on YOU. So that if they aren't interested in taking it for themselves, or you just want to be in control, you can resurrect them later even though they didn't have the stone on their person?
One you USE the stone it disappears from your inventory.
Does anyone know if the effect disappears as well if you log out for more than 15 minutes? So far I couldn`t find any notice which tells me that my soul is stored somehwere (but it actually works).
First, you need a Soul Shard to make the stone. That's easy enough to get. Once you've created the Soul Stone, it is now a useable item. Select yourself (or party member), and use the stone (while you're still alive). This will give you a 30-minute enchantment, where upon dying, you will be given the option to "Release Spirit" or "Reincarnate".
So, basically, no, you can't ever really use the stone itself to ressurect. You use the stone while the person is still alive, and it gives them an enchantment that lets them ressurect.
No, you can't trade it. You can use it to store a party member's soul, then resurrect them if they die, but you can't give it to them to self-resurrect. It's soulbound.
Some say you can give a stone to party member and some say you can't because it's soulbound. I wish Blizzard would post the effects and usage of this spell in better detail. :( Does anyone know if you can cast this on a party member if they have full health and not in combat? I guess the best way to test this spell is to get on the game and test it in different instances with friends. Thanks for any info you may have on it. :)
Ignore giving the stone to anyone else. It might be possible, but they cannot do anything with it. You need 1 soul shard. You then click on the create soulstone spell. It creates a soulstone inventory item. You then target who you want to store their soul. You then right click on the soul stone in your inventory. Their soul is now stored, the item disappears, and if they die in the next 30 minutes, they will have the option to reincarnate with the specified amount of HP and mana. This spell is extremely useful with a little patience; if you die, simply wait until the area is clear, then reincarnate. You should have this on yourself at all times you think there's even a possibility of dying. In a group, the main rezzer's soul should be stored at all times, especially in an instance.
If that doesn't answer your questions, nothin will. :)
Is there a cooldown on making them? Or once you die you can just make another?
And can it be dispelled?
i noticed that with the health one(whatever its called, i just blanked out), that you can only have one at a time. is this also true with this? i realize you make them then cast them and its gone, but can u just go through and make a bunch at the same time?
I have a Question:Do Warlock Trainers teach it?I just wanted to know.Thanks!
wow, i never knew that this would be so hard for some people:
no res sickness. only one soul can be stored every 30 min, so lets say 15 min in and the person who's soul was stored died, you'll have to wait 15 more minutes before you can re-store a soul. its nice to store a shaman/pally/priest's soul in instances, since if your whole group dies, they can come back and res the rest of the party (assuring he didn't die right next to mobs) you res right where your corpse is. you can soul store yourself. it takes one shard doing this spell makes a shard into a soulstone, which you have to use in order for the affect to take affect. only useable on living players. it can be cast in combat, when you're getting hit, and when your target is at any lvl of health or level. i'm even sure they can be someone not in your group. trainers teach this. only quests i've had to do so far for locks is summonables (imp, succubus, voidwalker, fel hunter, horse mount (i'm 46 atm, so i'm guessing infernal and doomguard as well)). the mana and health it says it resses you with is fixed. it doesn't increase with lvl, like life tap does. if someone died with their soul stored, they can res instantly, even if their party is still in combat. nice if the healer dies, and the rest of the party is still alive. i think that's all the questions people can ask about this. if you have anymore, and its not answered here or above, and is not stated in the text of the spell, its not the complicated alternative you think.
