Tried the weapons trainer, don't come up, tried the warrior trainer, nothing, lvl 54 warrior geting p/o'ed about it

Why would anybody want to train xbows... currently there are next to no xbows in the game at all... :|

There were a few in beta and there's at least as many in retail. The whole reason I'm on thottbot now is to find out where to train them because I Just got one. Crystalpine Stinger I think it's called.

Crossbows do exist I have one on my hunter.

Aparently the highest DPS ranged weapon in the game is an x bow.. so i heard

dps doesnt matter, well for hunters i guess it does but i mean imma rogue with a gun, i couldve gone with bow but a bow is more dps wise than a gun, a gun is a real pulling weapon becuase when you pull you only want 1 shot off of the mob and you want it the strongest dmg shot plus the guns give stats =)

the only reason a rogue or warrior should have a gun is for pulling. If you pick up a high ranged weapon when a hunter wants it, you are wasting a good weapon. the difference of 40dmg for a rogue or warrior is nothing where as the hunter firing that 40 dmg increase over and over is much more effective.

Only if you are not on a pvp. Today I was chased down by a caster who's strat was root him then cast him to death.

Openned up the crossbow on him...we traded hits for quite a while..he pulled back twice. Finally the fight was getting too expensive for him and he fled for safer grounds.

Crossbows rock. they are good for pulling, necessity for solo in many places.

Whats The Diffrence of Bow and xbow?

xbows have more damage

Crossbows do have their aesthetic appeal. I wouldn't see a furtive, stealthy, silent assassin pulling out a big rifle and making a LOT of noise.

Thottbot only lists Alliance vendors as selling crossbows. Anyone know of a Horde vendor, or willing to sell a crossbow themselves on the Kel'thuzad server?

For me, it's less a matter of game efficacy, it's that I want to learn every weapon I can. I've learned the proficiencies in all of them except wands, maces and shields. I'm a gun hunter mainly but it's nice to have the options as well.

Undercity War Quarter has a vendor who sells Crossbows. Very near to the weapons master, who incidentally trains crossbows.

I have a 22nd level rogue with a bow, quiver that is full, the bow is equiped as are the arrows. When I hit 'Z', it will put the bow in my hand, but when I target something and try to fire at him...it doesn't work. Blizzard said I needed to add a "shoot button", but I am not sure what that it is?!? I know there is a shoot button for hunters but how do create one for a rogue?

try going into your spellbook/abilities area and pulling down the shoot xbow button onto your bar just like gun or throw or bow

Are xbows slower than bows and guns? (as in firing rate)

Hunter are using range weapon more then others class, so they need to shoot fast... Xbow is not good for them as bow can be... for worrier that only need to pull and sometimes shoot few shot when he cant move is good to use Xbow cause of it damage.

rogues and warriors should just use a xbow/bow/gun for the stats it adds to. dps shouldn't even matter. my 34 rogue was usen a lvl 20 bow just because it added +1agi and i didn't find anothere raged weapon that added to the stats i liked. untill i found a xbow that added +7 to agi. now i use that. dps means nothing to a war/rogue cause you'll only get 1 shot off where as hunters do 90% of their dmg from them.

I agree with Fatherbeyorn rogues and warriors only use ranged weapons for stats and pulling. i resently aquired a 9agi bow that i use to pull when i'm in a group. not many weapons have much agi except that 15agi gun thats worth 300-500gold which i'm doubt i'll ever buy even tho i have my 60 mount already.
