How is it that this is a talent thatu can only put one point into and yet there is higher ranks of it? Is it a skill and you just spec in the talent to get the rank one earlier then u would if u waited till 28 to get it?

to my understanding, you learn rank 1 through a talent point. and then you can continue to train up in it through a trainer

I suggest if you have a few points to spare i'd put them in marksmenship. Because Aimed shot is incredible. 1st of all its a starting shot(due to the fact how you see your character physically aiming the bow/gun at the target and blasting away). I'm currently a lvl 28 hunter and with it i'm getting like 223 crits on it. The reason why i got it is that i mainly focus my talent points on beast mastery and marksmenship, i only melee when i need to.

what lvl you need to have the talent?

The minimum level to get it is around 20, and thats if you invest ALL of your talent points in Marksmenship

How many talent points do you have to have in Marksmenship to even put one point in Aimed Shot?

it requires 10 points in marksmanship.

Okay I understand all that and that aimed shot is a talent, but how do you get aimed shot Rank 2? I havent seen it on my trainer in TB.

I found mine in OG. I think the trainer has an option for it.....

Rank 1 is a talent which requires 20th level but only 10 points in Marksmen (Plus 1 for the skill itself)

Rank 2 is from you trainer and requires level 28

if there is more beyond that I don't know I am only 31st.

This spell is the best thing for ANY hunter...if yur gonna do talents put them in marksmaship and apect of hawk if u do it right u can get it as early as lvl 23 like i did....its the best thing...at a high lvl u can do up to 2000+ dmg

You shouldn't start a fight with aimed shot. You guys are all idiots. Aimed shot with the crit will generate more aggro for you, and not for your pet. You'll spend more kiting instead of firing away calmly at the creatures back. Never start a fight with aimed shot. ESPECIALLY if you're pulling.

If you don't use aimed shot as a first hit, when do you use it?

When I send my pet in and i use an aimed shot, I only pull agro if
1) It crits
2) The next 2 shots in a row crit

Even if that happens, I can use feign...easily.

Aimed shot has a +3 second timer, making my shot 5-6 seconds. During these 5-6 seconds i can shoot 2-3 times, easily outdamaging it unless it crits- and by random offchance none of my autoshot crit.

If you don't use it to pull, this is a totally worthless skill

  I have spent all my TP in markmanship, and I get a 450-480 crit dmg at lvl 30. Very useful at the start of battle. (Using the aimed shot, and instantly casting concussive shot after) Because the aimed shot uses 3 sec more the global timer is finished, the mob is slowed or stunned, and your pet easily gets the aggro after a few hits.
  
  In addition, spending a talent point in Scatter shot at lvl 30 gives you another use of Aimed shot.(The confuse is disabled if you give dmg) Just use scatter to confuse(4 sec) them, and use the Aimed shot.

Best way to use it is to calculate the time of your pet getting in there and the spell time. So, you send the pet in, start casting aimed shot and if you get it right, the aimed shot will hit the mob just a bit after your pet does. No aggro for you and lots of damage!

i have just respeced my char and i not able to by aimed shot ranked two can any1 help me out????

what lvl are you that could be a problem and im not respecing for aimed shot beast mastery i s doing kust fine for me i have a pet tank basically.
