So what we have concluded from all of this is that Blizzard doesn't want us in here for some reason. And in addition, there are a bunch of boss mobs that are aparently just models. From a programming stand point, did anyone think that perhaps this might be the location that Blizzard is testing their new mob bosses for glitches before they integrate them into their intended raid dungeons? Or perhaps this is where the server loads the mob bosses from when they are placed into the server. When I used to program games, I found it much easier to place the mob models into the game somewhere in a "zone" that had no functionality. Once an "instance" of a sort was loaded, it was quicker to load the instance from that zone instead of loading it from files outside the game and adding functionality to them at load time. Majorly reduced loading times when I did this and improved game speed. Going in means seeing the new mob bosses aparently before they're released, which in turn one would think means going in there and getting caught means getting banned. I'm going in! =)

for quite a while I was giving tours into a lot of places like tops of org, stormwind, ahn quiraj, bwl, CoT, Gnomeregan Crater, Gnomish Airport and Dwarven farm, Hyjal, Troll village in Moonglade and a lot of the undeveloped areas and the easter egg places and points of interest. you know, the usual places. i'd get like 100 or so gold for having them be summoned to wherever, and my business got so well known that the GM's started to know, and just gave me a slap on the wrist which didn't do much really, and they just started to send me tells after awhile going "Oh so you're back here again... you know you shouldn't be here... anyways check this out we did this last night!" and seemed like a joke to me.

Only time I have recieved bad messages was when I was in old ironforge, northern islands of Undermine, and North Plaguelands.

1. The Templars:
In Silithus kill Twilight Cultist people in their camps and collect a full set of Twilight Trappings ( http://thottbot.com/?i=52000 ), which consists of Mantle, Cowl and Robe! When you have a full set, go to one of the two Lesser Wind Stones around the Twilight Cultist camps. Put the Twilight set on and rightclick the Lesser Wind Stone.
Now you can spawn a random one of the four Templars (Azure Templar, Crimson Templar, Earthen Templar, Hoary Templar) and kill him. (He is soloable, but maybe you'll need to get one friend to kill him.
When you have killed the Templar, loot him and you will get an Abyssal Crest and maybe some green BoE item and if you're really lucky a blue BoP. Search for the name of each Templar on Thottbot or Allakhazam to find out which one drops which BoP item. Bring the Abyssal Crest to Bor Wildmane in Cenarion Hold and you will get a Bag of Spoils ( Bag of Spoils content: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52026 ) and 90 Silver. This quest is not repeatable.

2. The Dukes:
For the next steps you will need at least a Friendly reputation with the Cenarion Circle.
Get the Aurel Goldleaf quest from Huum Wildmane and go talk to Aurel Goldleaf. For the following quest you will need another 3 Abyssal Crests from Templars and 1 Large Brilliant Shard. Collect those 4 items and give them to Aurel Goldleaf. Now you will receive a Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station. You will need it and another set of Twilight Trappings to spawn one of the Dukes (Duke of Cynders, Duke of Fathoms, Duke of Shards, Duke of Zephyrs) at a Wind Stone (a normal one, not lesser, not greater). For these bosses you will need a good group of 5-7 people. The Dukes drop an Abyssal Signet, which you can give to Bor Wildmane to get 1.85 Gold and a Sack of Spoils ( http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52153 for content ). The Dukes also drop other nice stuff such as blue BoE pants and other blue items.

--Everything below this line is unconfirmed, since i haven't got that far yet--

3. The Bosses:
For the next steps you will need at least an Honored or Revered reputation with the Cenarion Circle.
Get the quest Goldleaf's Discovery from Huum Wildmane and go talk to Aurel Goldleaf. Then you will need another 3 Abyssal Signets from Dukes and 5 Large Brilliant Shards. Collect those items and give them to Aurel Goldleaf. Now you will receive a Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship. You will need it plus a Twilight Trappings set plus a Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station to spawn one of the big bosses (Baron Kazum, High Marshal Whirlaxis, Lord Skwol, Prince Skaldrenox) at a Greater Wind Stone. For the big bosses you will need a group of 25-40 people. The bosses drop an Abyssal Scepter and epic stuff. Again, give the Abyssal Scepter to Bor or Humm Wildmane to get a Chest of Spoils (content: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52296 ) and 2.8 Gold.

How to get reputation with Cenarion Hold:
To get reputation farm Twilight Cultist guys and Templars and finish repeatable quests such as http://www.thottbot.com/?qu=8318 for which you will need Encrypted Twilight Texts which drop from Twilight Cultist mobs.

Many people have asked how I have ground up my reputation with the Cenarion Circle so quickly.

My rep gains and notes may be off slightly. I had to try and recall much of it, and find stuff on the net. Please check your rep gains after each, to make sure you still get rep for dukes at honored for example (because you don’t at revered)

I would suggest just nose to the grindstone killing Twilight Cultists and gathering sets of clothes and Encrypted Text. Don’t turn them in yet. Mail them to an alt and back to yourself if needed. (When I mail them back, I mail a cowl, robe, and mantle before mailing more of another type. Just to keep them together so I can grab them quicker from the bank)

Get in any group you can that is killing cultists, templars, or dukes. A little more rep, goes faster in a group, and is more fun than solo grinding.

It costs about 17g per Duke to summon one if you bought the mats yourself. If you saved and gathered mats from all you have done up until Honored you should have a bunch to get started for free.

The big money maker is the Abyssal (leather/cloth/etc) leggings of (striking/sorcery). I am getting about 100-140g for each set, and they sell well. I turn right around and buy Encrypted Texts with this money. About each 2nd or 3rd Duke drops a set. That way one pair of leggings turned into text pages works out to about 1000-1500 rep.

The signets have also been selling quite well from killing dukes. About 30g each on my server.

I keep an alt parked in UC. I send legs to him, he auctions, buys texts, and mails them back to cut down travel time. I also use him for some mats for Logistics quests. I had a hard time finding Heavy Armor Kits on AH, so I ground his Leatherworking up to 150 and make my own. If you need any I keep him parked there for that, and will make them at cost for any conventus member.

I do not know about the water approaches. But I can tell you that the only land path that I am aware of or could find after hours of diligent searching was from Un'Goro Crater. Go to the extreme North West of Un'Goro. There is a finger like lake pointing to the northwest. You will see two huge pillers of stone which mark the path.
Once you get there find the flight path because it is a pita to ride from Gadget.

Ok for those of you trying to read this tread for a way in to Silithus here you go...

The only way to get there is through Un'Goro Crater. If you go from the neutral FP u will need to go west towards the top of the river at the northern part of the map. Eventually u will see a small dirt path going north. Take that path all the way around and that will get you in there.

For those that have the Cosmos add it’s coordinates: 29, 22.

Hope this helps everyone enjoy! :)

Ummm, If your high enough lvl to go here, you are not a new player. Also, getting the mods is so easy, you have no excuse.

Search for Titan Panel
most likely get it from curse-gaming
download
unzip
throw all of the titan folders into the Interface-AddOns folder in your WOW program folder (be sure to take the individual Titan folders out of the main Titan folder you downloaded)
works for mac and PC

and if your on a PC, to find the "real" wow folder, you need to open up your hardrive, not look in the programs list of the Start menu

You don't even need a mod for coords. After finally getting the coords macro, I was kicking myself for not getting it earlier.

/script SetMapToCurrentZone() local x,y=GetPlayerMapPosition("player") DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(format("%s, %s: %.1f, %.1f",GetZoneText(),GetSubZoneText(),x*100,y*100))

^Copy/paste this into a macro, then when you click it it will tell you exactly what your current coordinates are.

If you're Alliance, you can turn it in at the Alli camp NE of Hive Zora, it shows up as a blue shield when you discover it.

For anyone having trouble finding a place to repair at Cenarion Hold, to the right of the inn there is a tauren blacksmith. I couldn't find him for such a long time, I ran up and down the entire place like 5 times. IDIOT! lol

Anyone who uses thottbot to find locations but doesn't have the necessary addon for coordinates, you really should just finally go download one.

The easiest thing to do to get addons is to go download UI central. From that program you can search for hundreds of addons. It will install it to the proper directory for you so you don't have to mess with it. Meta map is a good coordinate addon and has a knowledge base with NPC's and their locations etc. Updateable in game as you travel and move your cursor over mobs NPC's etc.

I wanted to find out myself, so a couple of friends (70's) and I did this the other night. Took about 4 hours with their help, and 4 of me soloing it (at 57-58).

What happened? Pretty much NOTHING! You get a reputation buff that will only be on you when you're in Silithus. I'm not sure how long it lasts, because there is no time limit on it and, while it disappears when I leave Silithus, it's back on me when I return.

The buff is +25% reputation gained with Cenarion Circle from killing monsters.

Oh, and the captain in Hive'Regal (Horde) applauded us for about 4 seconds.

You will also get yelled messages from him every 50 Silithyst gathered saying to "Keep it up" and all that.

It's really not worth it. Trust me.

However, if you do decide to spend the time doing it, you DO get 20 Honor Points for every Silithyst turned in. And, the count does NOT reset when server midnight rolls around, so that's nice too... However, I have noticed that the count will reset if the server reboots, so be warned that that might happen.

And, of course, both counters reset when you reach 200/200 ^_^

*update* the server reset last night, I don't have my buff anymore. ;_;

On the contrary... Silithus, along with Winterspring, are great locations to grind out those last two levels before heading to Hellfire Peninsula. Silithus offers a handful of decent quests that are simple grinds, yet at the same time since the town there is central, they don't require nearly as much traveling as the Eastern Plaguelands. I would highly suggest using Silithus for at least one level, whether it is 56-57 or 57-58, before heading to Hellfire. If you head there before 58, you're guaranteed to be Death Knight bait.

Well, I spent an hour or more levitating around the coast of Silithus from Feralas. There were a few promising breaks in the mountains, but I only ever got close enough to switch my map to Silithus.

At the very southwest nub of Silithus on the coast, there is a cute little horde hut with no mobs. There is a windmill, hut with two fire pits, and a fenced yard.

If you go a little further east you run into a medium-sized cave with a glowing green aura inside. Again, no mobs.

Continuing, I ran into Land's End Beach in Tanaris. It is directly west of Uldum on the map. There are no mobs, but discovering it will give XP.

just a tip >> if you HATE getting poisoned, and don't have anti venom, find somewhere else to quest. I have been spending more time waiting for poisons to fade away than actual questing, no joke either:

- 10 seconds to kill the creature
- 25 to 45 seconds of waiting for the poison to wear off.

do the math.

It's also hilarious how these things are lower level than me, but still poison me 95% of the time.

Look at the map so you get an idea of where the head of the snake is. When your near the head, you see a path up in the mountains. Take it and just follow it. When you enter Silithus, keep running north through the path. Easily you end up in the Cenarion Hold. Easier than Feralas.
