drops off of a random syndicate

Found it at 28,60 =)

Solo'd with a 37 druid and got it from a Syndicate Conjuror on 7th kill, keep to the central road if your by yourself and pick off the Prowlers that patrol down that way, you can drag them off to the first level from the second and then off towords the defenders, but be sure not to get too close being that they or the 38+ ogre that patrols right there can get you. As well watch out for the 38+ Knight that partols on horseback with 3 36+ guards, he comes in and out the defenders area and out the front gate. Once you pull out a couple of prowlers out and dispose of them, you can pick at the Conjuror on the second level to the left (thats where i got mine, fyi the minions a wuss 36) but if you try this STAY TO THE WALL FARTHEST FROM THE KEEP, there are at least two more Prowlers against the wall for the keep at any time. The key as they said before is taking em one at a time, if you aggro a group bolt out the front gate and come back later.

i killed all the syndicates i could find. i finally found it on one that was sleeping. go figure.

Tbh its an easy quest now. As 39 paladin I was killing groups of 5 or 6 at a time with no problems. Got the drop on about 50th kill but no problem....got 1/2 a level and some nice blue boE boots.

So these guys are no longer elite as of 2.3? Going there to get the sigil quest done for the chest armor :)

Took me about 15 kills. Although it felt more like 50 after doing the Mok'thardin's Enchantment gorilla quest...omg

Wiped the entire syndicate area twice and was on my way out when i pulled it from a conjuror on the lower level to the right as i was facing whani left

I got it at the first i killed :D

killed about 30 now. still no drop.

this is awful. i went in with a group (lvl 37,38, 39) and we killed roughy 150.
still no drop.
i really hate this quest.

Got it first try- the thief on the left just inside- lvl 36 warrior

there is no mention about rep  for the dark spear trools and ive being looking for rep, I triied this quest and though there is no mention of rep in thottbot about it, i got 250 rep for the Darkspear trools. Just in case someone is looking for rep...

First time playing a horde rogue, first time I did this quest, first kill, I go tthe Sigil of Strom!!! pretty lucky!!!!!!!!!

Really it works go in and attack the first thief on the left and it drop it i swear give it a try !!! lvl 33 warrior.

Really guys FOLLOW instructions I walked in, killed a thief on the left. Then the conjurer with her minion. She dropped the sigil.

Dropped off the fourth syndicate I killed. When you enter the keep go left; there is a whole stretch of them.

Instructions above are correct, take first left and kill the first thief u see, he dropped the sigil for me as well :)

i had drop on prowler but i was killing that you said to kill
after 1.5 lvl i have found it on prowler

It seems to me that most people find it on either the first thief on the left or the magus inside the barn down the path to the left before the stairs. I found it once on my 36 rogue and on my 33 pally. both were on the magus but i know people who fond it on the thief. Glory to the Horde!  :P

Received on first drop from Syndicate Thief on the left as your first walk in and down the hallway.

LOL first kill as a lvl 30 it dropped i died right after lol becuz when the syndicate ran the others agrod...xD

From reading the comments, I thought I was going to be in for a long, frustrating drop quest.

But it turned out I was lucky too.

When entering Stromgarde, pass underneath a bridge and take a left.  You should see a patrolling Syndicate theif and Syndicate caster with her minion.  I killed both of them, and the Sigil dropped off the theif. 

Solo'd as a 35 hunter. 

p.s., beware of the patrols that enter the keep every once in a while.  Normally there are three on horseback.
