once in stormgarde, more or less keep going right

hes lvl 44

i tried to solo with my 45 assassination rogue and it didn't go too well.  I was able to get down both of his adds and then vanish.  Unfortunately, taking him down was more of a pain.  He has a flame shock attack that does ~300 instant damage and then some damage over time.  And then he hit me for 200 normal and 400 crits.  I was getting a fair amount of crits on him and I had to burn evasion, but the 400 damage crits were just too much.  I might have been able to kill him if I had blind powder with me to give me time to bandage and a healing potion.

For any other 45 rogues out there, I suggest either having blind powder and a healing potion on hand or get a party.  You might be able to solo him without any of these if you're lucky, but if you have crappy luck like me you'll find yourself dead and frustrated.

go into strom, turn right, go through area guarded by stromgrade defenders, until you cross the bridge u ran under to get into strom, the prince is in the building straight infront of the bridge.

Solo'd at lvl 44.

Is he in the original Keep or the Good to Allies side?if hes in alli side well hes in the one keep thats all trashy

Solod as a 44 Prot, Retri paladin,
Devotion, Seal of Light and Aegis of the Scarlet commander + Vanquisher Sword of RFD.
Didn't use any reagents.

The prince himself is a 44, since the de-buff I can almost solo this as a 39 Ret Paladin, but when hes almost dead he runs and aggros everything on his way out, including a 45.

The Coords are 28,58.

Soloed at lvl 40. was not easy, and if ur not a hunter (because of fiegn death) it won't be easy unless u can pull the mob and heal crazy. he is guarded by two lvl 38s and he is lvl 44.

Soloed with a 44 prot pally easy as pie! Just remember you dont need to concentrate on mobs just kill him loot then bubble your way out if need be

Solo'd as a lvl 39 frost mage.  Piece of cake, just pull the mobs out and then get him by himself.

I managed to kill Trollbane as a lvl 40 Frost Mage.  I didn't have the quest when I did it - I just happened to end up in the area and wanted to see what he dropped (I got squat).  Some useful info - I cleared out the guards outside on both sides in case I needed to kite him around there.  Also, the 2 guards around him can be pulled without aggro'ing him.  I hit the one to the right of Trollbane and he and the one to the left of Trollbane both charged.  I took care of those two and then pulled Trollbane - a few frost bolts, frost novas, etc and he was dead.  It was pretty easy, to be honest, and more importantly solo-able and do-able at lvls much lower than Trollbane.  Just make sure you kill him before all the respawns around him and the Sanctum.

easy q.. took me 1min to do it.

solo'd it with a 41lvl rogue. sap, blind.. in the end = total massacre. didn't use bandages, pots or vanish..

it is pretty much the way people say    but I soloed it at 43 Combat Rouge Sneak up to prince start attacking when mobs show up Blind one continue on prince use Blades and evasion. If Prince runs Net him continue to beat on him as soon as he is dead collect Sigal and vanish. Used one Health pot.

i soloed on lvl 40 frost mage; frost bold one then arcane missiles etc, ded wen he got 2 me. sheeped other guard, then killed prince with frost nova and frost bolt.
it helps to have some kind of shild on u like ice barrier and mana shield because the prince deal alot of damage! or ofc a helin potion.

solo'd with lvl 45 combat rogue.  didnt even take 1/4 of my life.  if you time it right you can pull the two guards with out the prince. cord are 28, 58

Pretty easy  I did it as a level 38 druid, just go all out in cat against the guy the drops and once he's killed  run from the guards, then you can go back and grab the loot

soloed this as lvl 38 lock i pulled the two body guards out killed them and sent void on trollbane when i pulled aggro off void i use CoE and ran out of the room unluckily mobs had already respawned i held on untill trollbane was down sacrificed the void for bubble and managed to loot the sigil before i died. :)

i soloed him as a 38 assassination rogue pulled both the gaurds out before i went after him
i ambushed him with cold blood then did the gouge-backstab thing  until 5 combo points then gouge-kidney shotted him for 2 backstabs in a row and killed him with 30 hp to spare :)

Warlocks! All ya gotta do is hellfire (no dura loss) underneath the bridge and ghost run up to the top of the bridge then rez. And if  you're unfortunate enough not to be a lock jus pull a mob to the bottom of the bridge and rez at the top.

just done this if you go up road as if you intend to enter keep,b4 goin in turn right n follow wall you will fin opening (as told by orkanin)turn left only few gaurds to get rid of so makes things easier.

Solo'd it as lvl 39 Warlock pretty easy.

ive killed him twice, but it wont let me loot him! any one having the same problem?

Just soloed as 39 affliction warlock.  cleared the area outside chapel.  used scroll of intellect and stamina on myself.  sent void to two adds on prince.  direct agroed prince.  amplify curse, immolate, CoA, Corruption, siphon life.  then spammed fears, kept dots up  and hit em with the occasional shadow bolt via nightfall while void tanked the two adds.  looted the prince, sac'd the void and peaced out over the bridge. 

should be pretty easy with hunter or lock, can't say for other classes. 

Just beat him as a 36 prot pally. SoL, reckoning and redoubt = end of story. Once you get dropped low enough in hp just bubble and HL and then finish him off. Used a mana pot to keep things going smoothly.

Soloed him as 39 Enhancement shaman. Get in by the secret path in the north-western corner of the castle to skip the first mobs, then turn right. Walk across the bridge. Don't know if he attacks but there is a salesman (alliance) on your right as you cross the bridge. Basicly just cleared the left side of the yard, killed the left mob in the chapel, killed the add with a Stoneclaw on Trollbane. After that, basicly just killed him with Stoneskin, Searing and Healing Stream totems running. Didn't have full mana as i started the fight so a Mana Pot shouldn't be nessacery. As I killed him, he pulled 3 mobs. Just looted, jumped down over the bridge and fled.

just solo'd as a 37 combat spec rogue. all i did was clear the courtyard all 6 guys and then pulled his two body guards and then went after him. though he did run on me at about 15-20% health and i had to vanish to avoid the respawns but overall not to bad. i did use evasion right off the bat though. btw he does not hit that hard.

very easy to kill it.. but this prince didn't drop any sigil =( i'm disapointed

Tried it as a 37 shadow priest and died, but got him down pretty far. Resisted just about everything. I'll try again at 38 I guess.

When you reach the entrance of Stromgarde, head to the right, around the outside. You'll come to a hole in the wall that you can hop through. Then, head left, cross the bridge and keep heading straight. He's in the house with 2 guards, both of which I was able to pull without aggroing him. The guards are linked to each other, so you'll pull both at once.

He's a lvl 44. His guards were, I believe, lvl 38 and 39.

Pretty easy quest. Did it at lvl 40 paladin

Just go slightly in the house so its only the two guards you are fighting against. And then he is pretty easy afterwards. He is lvl 44.

Done it with 0 potions

as a lvl 39 warrior with a lvl 41 paladain i rushed in casted relatiation then he healed me ....^^and yes he died

Soloed i, lvl 39 sub rogue... used stealh all the way in. zap the guard to the left of trollbane, used distract on trollbane, walk upp behind, ambushed him, got 560 crit, kept hitting him when the second guard rushed up, when he got down to 30% life (same as me) i used vanish, befor he got out of combat and his life was still low, i ambushed him again and killed him, looted him, used preparation and vanish again, then out... piece of cake...

Level 37 prot pally...destroyed my way up there taking on three defenders at a time no problem.  Because of my low level=aggro range i was able to pull 2 guards with out him.. so i have him alone and it began

Fight lasted forever, i had tons of pots,food,fir buffs on blew all my cooldowns, every attack missed, but being protection and having 3.1k health and 3.4k armor comes in handy hehe. 

Killed him hooray right!  WRONG i use auto loot and sometimes it doesnt pick up, i was so excited i didnt see that i didnt pick it up....jumped off bridge when i noticed it.  Ran back had to kill all respawns his body vanishes with my loot as im 5 yards away!!!!

Bout to tackle him again but needed lay hands x_X
