Well, in my haste to see if I could get to Winterspring I killed my way through once. Bad decision, but since I don't tailor I don't have any great need to up my rep with them.
As wimpy as it sounds, I found that running in as far as you can to suicide will get you far enough along that one or two corpse runs from Ironwood will actually put you out the other side. Got to Moonglade this way out of sheer curiosity. Took about 10 minutes for the Moonglade run all told. Once you have the Everlook and Moonglade flightpaths you no longer need the tunnel. Not a proud way to do it, but it does work.
This is a nice place for Druids lvl 54+ and plz read the comment above on how to get from Moonglade to here.
There is a TUNNEL connecting 1. Moonglade 2. Winterspring 3. Feelwood. Dont kill anything inside there. Just dont. A lot of ppl talk about taking north from Ashenvale to get to Feelwood. My first time entering Feelwood / Winterspring i ran through the tunnel from Moonglade. Beeing a Druide and having Teleport To Moonglade spell this is an nice option. DONT kill anything in the tunnel, even if they atack you. Yes. Just be a covard run, die and run again or what ever. Or go to the Feelwood side entering from Ashenvale and do the stinking quest to get not at-war with the faction. I am at war after trying to do the faction-quest 100 times. Hate it! But i must admit i felt the Timermaw was less 'at-war' with me when i stealthed through the cave the last time (maybe just a feeling). Anyway: Still at-war with them i now can stealth through the cave. BUT YOU DONT have to, once you get the flight paths. I made 3 x rofl to myself when i read the above commentar that one guy finaly got the at-war tag away, but at that time he was so angry with the timbermaw that he just told himself he would probably kill any timbermaw he saw from now on, lol! Personally, as a druide, i found one nice quest-series in Winterspring very nice to do: This is described in an excellent way by 'slu66o' in this link : http://www.thottbot.com/?q=2369 (thx!) To ppl stating that this is a lvl 56+ zone, well i started here at lvl 54 and that is a nice level i think. But druids will have to use their bear form to survive som times. To get to Winterspring: run inside the passage and do not make any turns or drop down to another level. Run straight and you will come out in Winterspring shortly.
To get the Moonglade: run inside the passage and drop down a level or turn left or right. either way will take you to Moonglade. I was running around trying to get every flight path I could as a 46 human pally, so naturally I wanted to get into Winterspring to get the Everlook flight path. It's actually pretty easy to go through Felwood if you're a pally.
Coming from Darkshore, go south to Ashenvale, then east until you get to about the center of the map, then head north until you hit Felwood. Once you're in Felwood, just follow the road all the way north and east until you reach the end of the map. Be sure to get the flight path just south of Timermaw Hold so you don't have to do all the running again. You need to run through the cave to get to Winterspring, but it's populated by some level 52 - 55 mobs. First things first, Throw up Devotion Aura to reduce you're damage taken, and you might as well equip a shield if you have one, because you won't be doing any attacking, just running and trying not to die. Blessing of Freedom will be your friend inside, it makes you immune to movement impairing effects for 10 seconds, but has a 20 second cooldown. Basically run in, and when you see the first mob, cast blessing of freedom on yourself and keep running. They will daze you with their hits if you don't have it on, which is why its really important. Just keep running and casting Blessing of Freedom on yourself whenever you can. When your life gets low, shield yourself, and heal twice, which should put you back up to full health. Then continue running. You're life will probably drop down again, so you'll have to use Lay on Hands, but by that time you'll be near the end. Once you get out of the cave they shouldn't chase you too far. Then just follow the road to everlook and grab that flight path.

You know, you don't have to kill the Furbolgs at all, your just making it hard on yourself. Just finish one simple quest and they won't attack you anymore... the quest is located in the entrance of Felwood from Ashenvale. You just kill a few things and turn in the quest. As simple as that..

Hi guys just came in through the tunnel. I was not nuetral but at a 53 warrior I had ample hit points to walk through even though I was dazed about 10 times.
I scouted out Everlook and got some quests , found most of the amenities but I only noticed the Horde flight master outside of the town. Is there and if there is , where is the Alliance flight master? co -ordinates please, thanks. Good gamming! Oops Found it , thanks anyways. Does anyone think that "Everlook" is in reference to the "Overlook" hotel in Stephen King's "The Shining". The snowy area seems to further reinforce this.
I only bring this up because of a clear reference to "the Shawshank Redemption" in a quest called "the scrimshank redemption", another stephen king novel. Seems that Blizzard likes making these humorous references.

What I did, even though I came very close to dying, is alternate bunches of different totems.
The best one to drop is the Stoneclaw totem. If all goes well, the mobs that are following you will attack that, allowing you to heal up and continue your run. Another would be the Earthbind, but it's best to just use this when your Stoneclaw is on cooldown. When both of these totems are on cooldown, drop a Stoneskin and a Healing Stream, and then hope for the best :P
You only need to have unfriendly reputation with the Furlbogs to get through the hold. When you get to the hold from Felwood there's a quest giver there who gives you a really easy quest killing lvl 54-56 nearby furlbogs.
When you hand it in you'll become 'unfriendly' as long as you havent killed any of the furlbogs in the hold already. Then just walk through. Might as well do the quest for exp and rune cloth which these furlbogs drop.
If you're a frost mage just pop-on Ice Armor and Ice Barrier and you should be fine. Your shield will slow them down while your barrier keeps you from getting damage and getting dazed and if you got alot on you just frost nova and you should be fine.
I whent through the tunnel as a lvl 54 human palidan. made the mistake of killing the first guy who attacked me but after that I just ran and none of them could catch up to me. Very easy didnt have to heal myself or but up a bubble. The alliance flight path is down the road on the other side of Everlook
Another thing to do when running through the furbolg cave:
turn auto run on, and press the Q and E buttons while running:) so you run zigzag. it really works, and has saved my life very often Add Comment
