You take no damage from a certain height, then after that, you start falling like normal.

Pretty useless skill. You sill take damage when falling from high place, fall from Sorrow Hill for example.

you can fall from a medium height but not a frikn mountain.. dumbass

Heh, other classes gets to wear plate, mail,  transform to a powerfull tank/dmg dealer, portals, free mounts, and what do we get. safe fall......

I'd prefer an ability to make our own (class specific) weapons

I'm lvl 39 and I want to save money for my mount. Im at 78g and I'm wondering if this skill is wirth the money (i only buy skills I REALLY need)  =D

This really sucks, seeing as I am a rogue and I have a lvl 21 engineer alt able to make parachute cloak. Parachute cloak lets you fall as far as you want, just gotta make sure you enable it somewhere within a medium distance to the ground.

I will probably get this skill soon, but right now i'm a lvl 40 Rogue and I just got my mount, So im hurting on the money.

yes it is worth it, even b4 u buy a mount. im a lvl 55 rouge with mount and it and it helps ALOT of im running from horde. i turn it on. get on mount. run like hell. then jump off a cliff and im safeand they die. so it is good if u like PvP

mostly when i go to some place and i'm up at the mountain's i don't feel like taking a path down i just jump down, instead of taking 700-800 damage i take 200 damage instead, pretty good skill for when you jump off hill's like me and especialy when there is a mob down that is the same level as you are

Any damage reduction is useful. Period. Doesn't make you uber, doesn't make you god, but does allow you to have fun.

Get someone chasing you down on your mount near some very high cliffs. Then just jump off the cliff, dismount in mid-ar, stealth and land. Now wait a few seconds and, *SPLAT*, your enemy just died. Unstealth, do your little dance of victory and move on. :)

Call me cheesy, but I just feel it makes you more ninja like versus rogue like and I enjoy that transformation.

If you have Safe Fall.. Can you jump off stonewrought dam without dieing? if you can then it's totally worth it!! =D

It only prevents damage from a fall up to about 600.  After that you take the full damage just like it wasn't there.  Very rarely will you be unable to handle the damage from such a short fall. 

I was in Gnomeregan with a level 32 rogue trying to get the toxic revenger from the Viscous Fallout.  We would both run in and fall straight down to the bottom and take the same amount of damage (600-800 depending on where we landed).  It doesn't do enough at level 40 to warrant spending the 2g.  Later on, sure.  2g is nothing then.
