In order to find The Stockades, head into Stormwind, and travel through the Trade District, and into The Canals. Cross the Canal to the Mage District side, and you will find The Stockades near the park.

stockades is an instance that's really only good for quests (i.e. xp and rep). if you need an instance to get money and drops, try scarlet monastery. i dont think it's worth horde risking their lives to get into. your not missing out on anything if you're wondering.

First of all, There are 3 BLUE drops in Stockades.
These drop off the really rare spawn, Bruegal Ironknuckle(dwarf) Jimmied Cuffs Binds on Pickup Wrist Mail 89 Armor +3 strength +7 Stamina Requires Level 21 Iron Knuckle Binds on Pickup Fist Weapon One-Hand 19 - 37 Damage Speed 1.70 (16.5 Damage Per Second) Chance on Hit: Chance to pummel target for 4 seconds and interrupt the spell from being cast for 5 seconds. Aside from the drops the rare dwarf spawn gives, there are other things no one has mentioned yet.
For starters, the famous Skeletal Club (19 twink 1h mace) is a random drop here. I can say this for a fact as I've gotten it before (soloed on a 44 rogue). Aside from that, there are a lot of really nice green drops. I have personally always had really good experiences doing Stocks, especially now that I can solo it and get all the drops. I went in here to solo it as a 50 lock... horde. I ended up dying only having to res once or twice on the way there, I went with a group of rogues that were causing havoc.
Instance is very small, boring, THE BOSSES DROP NO LOOT, but it does seem to be a very good place to farm wool... went from wool bandages to silk in an hour in there. at about 4 in the morning, my friend(lvl 70 undead rogue) and I(lvl 70 undead mage) decided to see how difficult it would be to get to stocks... wasnt that hard lol, gaurds were pushovers, ran into like 3 lvl 60+'s and for sum odd reason, there were like 20 lvl 15-30's sorta in a big ass group dancing near the stocks... we prolly interupted a videoor sum kind of wow worshipping dancing orgy festival :P

Just did this with my brother, horde lvl 70.
Died once, ressed on a safe spot, mounted and entered the stockade. 2 minutes later we had our achievement done. Was kinda funny, a lot of ally when we did it. lvl 75 guards are a pain in the ass tho
lvl 70 ran through with a guildie...had a way of getting into Stormwind undetected as a warrior ;) ill let you wrap your minds around that...nice achievement win

Lol iv been in a stockades run where a Sentry cloak drops and feet fo the lynx i got both i was soooo happy
i was running a group of 4 levels lvl 16-19 people on my lvl 80 dk so i used em for my twink and sentry cloak i sodl cuz i already got 1 from forman rigger in barrens
I just did this as a lvl 80 Shammy np. I recommend taking off amour and running through SW naked so u dont have a huge repair bill. I only died once but man its a looong way back from the graveyard. I just did it for the achievement and dont reccommend it for loot, it sux! =P

Little tip. I got the acheivment and also fished in stormwind and orgimmar for another acheivment while i was there.
I logged in on my ally mage and planned my route lol then run through with my dk and jumped into water and swam most of the way then run in. Didnt die once and i got plenty of wool :)

I'm an 80 pally, trying for Classic Dungeonmaster and Loremaster achievements, so I ended up running Stockades solo.
A run through - killing most, but not everyone - took about 20 minutes. I got: 10 silk 44 wool 18 linen 9 white food items 1 healing potion 1 lesser mana potion 9 greens [7 armor, 2 weapons] 12 grays quest items a couple of gold, total FYI for Loremaster: after completing the Bazil Thredd quest ["The Stockade Riots"], a non-dungeon questline opens up that adds another 9 [I think] quests.
Tried yesterday with my lv 65 HORDE Paladin and i got it! You will die approximatively 2-3 times depending on how much players and guards sees you... (inside the city you'll be automatically flagged for PVP). Then walk each time for 5 minutes from the border of Elwynn Forest to Stormwind.. It will take 15 minutes to get in the Stockade. The instance requires no key, and takes 5 minutes if you go to the right, and don't kill everyone. Hope was helpful.

Ok people i'm a horde dk i've been farming this all day (Today) i've ran it 37times (10min per run) VERY EASY. Here are my drops
Sentry cloak X1 Feet of the lynx x1 Redbeard crest x4 Antipodian rod X1 Ring of Defence x2 Twisted chanters staff x1 Porspecters axe 1 And 2 dumb Fire bane cloak x2 This place has the HIGHEST drop for twink gear im jelous of the alli but i can still get there so in a way im not... also it is SUPER easy to get the good drops no matter what or just realy quick Bring a friend and tell him to put on pass on loot and set ur loot threshold to uncomman. This will make it so that person can ONLY loot the Greens+ If they need somthing give it to em cuz they can't roll but there saving alot of bag space amd time from looting cuz it only shows them the people with good stuff BTW Greens drop LIKE CRAZY In my 37 runs i got 5firest leather bracers 7blood rings 3demond bands and more and on my server some of that stuff that drops there is selling 3g each and in 10min u get about 10greens with is 30g so i've been farming here on my DK and i've gotten SOOOOOO much gear so if ur a lvl 80 horde and ur farming for ur twinks this is THE BEST place to go unles of course ur farming gear that only drops in one instance such as Tree Bark Jacket Shadowfang And Assassin's Blade Ext Hope this helps
Hey guys after the last 2 weeks or so i've ran this non stop i'de say 5hours a day not counting weekends on weekends 10hours but anyway i've made 9k off the drops (400-600 from mob money or what ev its called) well i sold everything i got and i got SO much cash i almost fainted lol + it wasn't hard and i still got some shit on ah anyway i wrote down what i've gotten
Sentry cloak x4 (AWSOME I KNOW) Feet of the lynx x2 (kinda gay) 9redbeard crest (Drops like hell i suggest u loot chests 5 of em droped off them) Anitpodean rod x2 (i hate this wep) twisted chanters staff x5 thorbia gauntlets x5 firebane cloak x3 and more then 500stacks of wool lol made like 2k or more off dat lol and a shit load of greens i got like a shit load and i sell em like 2g-3g each so evey run i get 30g off em 10greens a run lol this is a easy place to farm and lol its fun cuz when u come out of instance alli try and jump u but i just kill em (If u think ur gunna die run into the instance) anyway i got some other blues like 4prospecter axes ad the rest im WAY to lazy 2 put out lol (sorry for no links to items dont know how 2 do dat lol) Add Comment
