In order to find The Stockades, head into Stormwind, and travel through the Trade District, and into The Canals. Cross the Canal to the Mage District side, and you will find The Stockades near the park.

stockades is an instance that's really only good for quests (i.e. xp and rep). if you need an instance to get money and drops, try scarlet monastery. i dont think it's worth horde risking their lives to get into. your not missing out on anything if you're wondering.

First of all, There are 3 BLUE drops in Stockades.

Numseratia, although it might have been a typo, to aquire the Stockade Riots, you have to first Kill Van Cleef in the Deadmines and start the quest from the unsent letter, that sends you to Baros in the Cathedral District, and then to the stockades.

Aside from the drops the rare dwarf spawn gives, there are other things no one has mentioned yet.
For starters, the famous Skeletal Club (19 twink 1h mace) is a random drop here. I can say this for a fact as I've gotten it before (soloed on a 44 rogue). Aside from that, there are a lot of really nice green drops. I have personally always had really good experiences doing Stocks, especially now that I can solo it and get all the drops. I have a 28 warrior and attempted to solo this place. It's doable but I was only able to do a few bosses, and I had to drink a potion or two when more than one mob was on me.
You can do some of the quests on your own such as Targorr, the wool bandanas, and the Stockade Riots. It'll take patience though as you probably will wipe a few times.
I went in here to solo it as a 50 lock... horde. I ended up dying only having to res once or twice on the way there, I went with a group of rogues that were causing havoc.

I was in there a few days ago, with my lvl 18 druid and some lvl 40+ players.
Its true, i aggro'd all the prisoners! its good to use lower lvl to pull the mobs out of the rooms to kill them one by one. healing and resurrection comes in very handy if low lvl dies (witch happens in a few seconds if u don't watch out. at about 4 in the morning, my friend(lvl 70 undead rogue) and I(lvl 70 undead mage) decided to see how difficult it would be to get to stocks... wasnt that hard lol, gaurds were pushovers, ran into like 3 lvl 60+'s and for sum odd reason, there were like 20 lvl 15-30's sorta in a big ass group dancing near the stocks... we prolly interupted a videoor sum kind of wow worshipping dancing orgy festival :P
anyway, go early in the morning and u have a chance :D
aslvl 27 destructo lock easy to solo the first piece. as far as i did try u can solo 7-8 mobs without realy getting trouble:
first step, get a voidwalker and level to level 27 (26 to) second step, walk to stockades and enter :P third step, pull 1 mob every time so wait for pat, put the att power reduce curse immolate (corruption if u afflicto) untill jou see felwalkers goes under 700 hp, heal ur pet twice channels and continue, drain health from mob and continue, at 20% put curse of recklesness to avoid aggro ing other mobs by running, drain soul if u want shards or just nuke down, first kill finished 4th step, dont go into side rooms, stay in middle hall,if jou dont wanna break, no needed , just do same but now drain hp and heal voidwalker more and more but keep up dotts and keep healing, if u are scared about pulling 2 mobs like me after i killed my 7 mobs, go out and reset or try to pull more mobs, let me now when more mobs are able sure wanna now :P hope this helps GL killing these guys on lvl 26-27 Toranar lvl 27 destruct lock aggamagan (or something) Re: The Stockade by Joshgotserved, Score 0.00

Okay...about the Hdrmancers Headwraps. It must be some kind of glitch lol, it is also a quest reward for VC instance(or DM instance....depends on your server) and the twink items...not so much, pretty much stocks is an awful instance if your not farming wool. there is not enouh guys o run for XP and the only guy who drops blue items is rare which is awful. i would advise go to VC or WC for twink stuff
ahaha, alright i found it. I got in on my 65 belf hunter without any trouble, just ran through the trade district , went to the left and ran straight in. it wasnt hard, i barely lost any health. Dont turn back, and it'd be wise to go there on an alliance character so you can get a good path. I only lost 500 health.

Havent you read the coment above? Alot of them say that they got in stocks as a horde. Also one of the reasons blizz only had the rare drop good loot was because its the smallest instance in the game. Also it's very easy to get in there as a horde, just gotta know where it is first =)
First of all stockades is not good at all for finding rare items..However, it is probably the for leveling from 20-26..You usually get 4-8 bars..
