      The Skull is all that remains of the Demon 'Archimonde'. If you played WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, and beat the last level
      it would conclude with a cinematic of Archimonde trying to destroy the World Tree, but being overwhelmed then dying. If you ever look at character models of him, you'll see that the skull and the clothing match that of the models you see of him when he is still alive.

                        Last night, me and a bunch of guild friends decided to go on a little vacation to the hotspot of Hyjal.



                        After we all got there, we started on our journey, our first stop of course, being the glorious tree of life.





                        We saw this lake that was under the Tree of Life and got curious, so we decided to go for a little swim, after about five minutes of straight downward swimming, we hit rock bottom, literally.



                        After we swam the mile back up, we felt like taking some group pictures.




                        After our glamour shots, it was the time we were all waiting for. The infamous leap of faith.. well leap of inevitable death that is. After scaling the biggest mountain in the world, we came to our very own diving board.



                        As we waited for everyone to get there, I decided to take a look over the edge and see what we were dealing with.



                        And let the jumpng commence!



                        Some people were lucky enough to have slow fall potions, and supposedly flew all the way to auberdene (some even over shot it ;) )

                        And then my turn came up.



                        After gaining the confidence to push myself off this mountain, down we went.



                        After hitting a pretty painful death, we all gathered up at the Felwood Graveyard and had a couple rounds of naked boxing.



                        And thus ended our great vacation to the beautiful land of Hyjal, hope you enjoyed!

                          Ok, about 10 meters from the entrance to the cave with they Hyjal instance gate there is a pillar (assuming you are facing Hyjal). More to the right is a small hill you can climb which leads to a cliff wall that leads away from Hyjal.

                          Get as far as you can up the hill and into the corner. Now turn around and hit / to tunr on walking. Start wall walking to the pillar. When you get near the pillar make a leap. Keep trying til you wedge yourself between the wall and the pillar.

                          Turn around and face the hill you were wall walking on. About 2 feet from where you are standing is a small indent in the wall you are wedged between. Do your best to land there. Now climb up and make your way to the where the cave is.

                          Look around and you should find a ledge near the top of the cave with an indent in it. Keep jumping at the indent until it catches you. Once it catches you keep jumping to wiggle your way out of the indent and land on the ledge.

                          You should now be near the top of the instance gate cave (Do not walk on top of it). Walk forward a bit until you can see Hyjal, then walk to the right away from the cave and down the hill. Keep making your way down into Hyjal until you slip through the barrier.

                              The entrance to Hyjal is in Darkwhisper Gorge, in the southern most part of Winterspring.  Darkwhisper Gorge has level 59 and 60 elite demons in it, so you'll have to be careful.  The website http://www.mrzstudios.com/hyjal.html shows which crater you need to get to (but his method of getting into Hyjal is outdated and won't work). 

                              The area you want to get to is sort of in the middle between the entrance to Hyjal and the nearest cave to your right.

                              The red circle is the hill you need to get on, and the blue circle is the pillar you're going to walk around.

                              Now, you want to face the wall and get as high as you can, turn sideways, and walk on the wall to the pillar.  Here - http://thottbot.com/?z=40 - you can find a video of someone wall walking, so you have an idea of how to do it.

                              I found that I didn't have to jump onto the pillar - I was able to just walk onto it.  You then need to walk around the pillar, and you'll end up facing the wall.  You need to jump until you are between the wall and the pillar.  This is a pic of me trying to get between the wall and the pillar:  http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/8062/onpillar317lg.png

                              After you get in between the wall and the pillar, you need to jump to the 'dint' in the wall.  It might take a few tries, but it's not too hard.  Pic of me in the dint:  http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/8782/onwall10np.png

                              Now, make your way around the tree and hang a left.  Go up the hills and over the rocks, and drop down on the west (I think) side of the entrance cave.  I ended up here:  http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/4899/almostthere216vv.png

                              I'm standing right in front of an invisible wall.  Just use the unstuck feature (provided you've used your hearthstone within the past hour so it doesn't automatically use it) and you'll be ported a few feet forward, right through the wall.

                              I did all of this without a mount, to show that you don't need a mount for it.  The world tree is all the way on the top of Hyjal (follow the path) so it helps to speed things along by having a mount, but it isn't necessary.  Next patch they're removing wall walking, so it looks like it'll be impossible to get there.  Anyway, until then, enjoy.

                              Similar way to all the previous guide posters, but if you don't know how to get on the pillar because wall walking is nerfed, this is my way to do it. I used my Druid to do it, and I choose catform because it moves faster (or travel form). You can do the same thing in humanoid form but it's recommended to have faster speed for the first few steps.

                              (Sorry I put the jpg quality very low so it's very easy to load. Also the background is kind of red is because it's becoming nightfall.)

                              1. The gorge in Winterspring is consisting of many pits, as you can see on the map. Make your way to this pit here through the tunnels while avoiding lvl59-60 Elite demons.

                              3. This is a tough step. But once you get it, you get it. Because wall walking isn't allowed anymore, you can't jump onto the brown wall. So push yourself against the wall and move left and right like shown in pic. Don't need to jump at all. Sometimes you'll find your camera jumping up and down, it means you are doing it right. Control your speed, and hopefully you will get onto the pillar like the picture in step 4. It takes some practice but once you got it, you can always get onto the pillar.

                              4. Your position will be like this once you grabbed onto the edge of the pillar. Put on Walking Mode, slowly walk around the pillar while pushing against the pillar wall to prevent falling.

                              5. Once around the pillar, position yourself like this, turn on Running Mode and run up against the intersection between brown wall and pillar wall. When you feel your body grabbed a bit of the brown wall (when your body moved up) like the position shown in pic, you can do a small jump to completely get onto the brown wall. Do NOT attemp to jump before that, because you will be likely pushed off the pillar to the right like shown in the dotted red line.

                              6. Do a few small jumps to get over to the other edge of the pillar. Then ready for a big long jump onto the other brown wall over the gap. This long jump is easily done.

                              7. From here you can use your mount if you wish, because jumping over this tree on foot will be harder after the patch. This is easy jump with mount.

                              8. Once you jumped over the tree, turn around and follow the path up.

                              9. Then, jump onto the edge (easily done with mount) and follow path.

                              10. Jump off to a lower edge, then jump to an even lower edge ahead. Careful don't jump too fast you might fall.

                              11. Choose whichever path you like to jump over this simple platform. Again easily done with mount.

                              12. Now you see Hyjal, but don't jump down too early, follow the blue path and don't jump off where the red dotted line is; if you do so you'll stuck down there with an invisible wall around and you have to hearth out!

                              13. Just walk on the edge of the cliff to where the solid blue line ends, then you will begin to slide down the dotted blue line. Once you hit the ground, you will take some damage but you'll be free to travel around in Hyjal.

                              Well, since i got lost with the idea of alot of these other guides, and many people have posted replys to what i have said before, ill post the strategy that i used. This can be done after patch 2.06 (Burning Crusade) (Although, it is more difficult now)

                              MAKE SURE YOUR HEARTHSTONE IS ON COOLDOWN/OR YOU ARE WILLING TO DESTROY IT!

                              Step 1
                              Start by entering darkwhisper gorge in winterspring. You need to get to the afformentioned pillar that is basically essential to getting into Hyjal. Location of the pillar:

                              Get to the right side  of the pillar. Face the corner where the pillar touches the mountains/hills and keep jumping. You need to get the angle right, and I personally found it ALOT easier to do this in humanoid form rather than cat/travel form/mounted. Eventually, and most likely by a fluke you will get onto the pillar. This does get quicker each time you do it.

                              Step 2
                              Toggle walk on. then wall-hug around the pillar till you reach the 1st dent you must jump in.

                              Jump into it. walk up to the top of it then jump so that you seem to be parallel to the ground. Then get on your mount. It doesnt matter if it is an epic mount or just normal, I did it with normal.

                              (At this point you still have walk toggled on)Check again that your mount isnt at a funny angle to the ground, if it is then just adjust yourself so that it isnt, and face your mount towards the dent with the tree in.

                              Now you toggle walk off. this is VERY important. I tried to wallwalk this several times, and tried to jump with walk on and failed. then, when you are happy that you can see the far corner of the dent and are facing it; so a running jump. Don't back up, just jump.

                              If you do this right, you SHOULD be in that dent. Just run around the tree (I find the right side to be easier) and navigate your way over the plateu's  making sure that you dont fall down. You should start to see some greenery over to your right...

                              Step 3 (Route through the barrier 1)
                              Now dont go in immideately. But go on till you are past the other side of the cave that can be seen.                               Then you drop down. there are some trees there and you should go just past them before facing the wall.

                              HERE IS WHERE THE COOLDOWN ON YOUR HEARTHSTONE BECOMES IMPORTANT!

                              Use the auto unstuck feature when you run into the barrier. It should port you through. If you hit a second barrier, as has occured to me sometimes, just wait 5min for it to be off cooldown then use it once more.

                              ROUTE PAST THE BARRIER 2!
                              Having tried some earlier persons suggestions, i did manage to get past without using the Auto-Unstuck feature. :) When you can see the beginning of Hyjal, stop. There are two bits of land that stick out from the plateu that your on; to the right, and to the left. Stand on the right one, and climb up, walk around on the small area until it stops, then drop down. Try to get as far away from the cave with the instance portal as you can when you move towards the main road, otherwise the barrier might catch you :)

                              Now all i can say is: Welcome to Hyjal!

                              Random stuff

                              The so called 'jumping board' is approximately half way up hyjal, if you know where the cave is, its the gap in the mountains to the left when you are going up hyjal. You see some broken catapults & stuff and a little area of free space then theres another gap. That has some ruins of a building and it is easy to get to the part that juts out into...well nothingness.

                              DRUIDS & The Jumping board: If you want to try this jump, and are willing to have a laugh; take all your armor off at this jump (keep your cloak +trinkets/rings/necklace on for that boost in stats) and mount + jump off the 'runway' i suppose you could call it. then get off the mount. and when you are about to land; barkskin + shift to cat form. Each and every time i have done this i have survived, and saved a giant repair bill from using the spirit healer. (Trust me, if you die from that jump and you have noone with you/they cant res/they died you cannot get back up.)

                              The blizzard barrier: Just follow the path to the end and you will come across a barrier. if you look closely you can see that blizzard left a message :P

                              The almost never-ending pool: Well, the new well of eternity that is under the World tree, (the pool) actually is REALLY deep. Druids can just use aquatic form to get to the bottom, locks have uneanding breath, undeads have 30% extra time to breathe (Im not sure how long this will last) and thats about it.

                              I made it to the bottom and just saw some rocks and bubbles...pretty boring. Somehow my priest friend (night elf) managed to make it to the bottom and to the top, while other people/classes couldnt. Makes me curious...:)

                              If this doesnt make sense to you, ill be happy to go into more detail on the method. all you need in this one is jumping really though.

                                i actually got summoned into hyjal, you can sneak through some southern part of dark whisper gorge as someone said. a neat way to do it is destroy your hearth stone and use the auto unstuck feature. thats how i got into that instance as well. i have many screenshots and fraps - if you want to see them whisper ArmpitOfSatan, im piecing together a video of the place. It's absolutely gorgeous, very nice design and I can't wait to have it accessable!

                                Caverns of Time will be in Tanaris, and no, it won't be a BG. You will be able to relive any major battle thats happened over Warcraft history (if im correct).  To answer the question of what Hyjal is, it is an area to the southwest of winterspring on your map.  It isn't opened yet (officially), but if you look up at the guide that was provided by someone, you can get in there.

                                  Try jumping at the pillar from the left hand side, and if you land near the top, hit jump and tap the forward key. From there it's the same route as before.

                                  It's kinda like wall walking. They tried to remove it, but instead they just made it harder. :)

                                  Ok, I'm going to tell you how to get there.  This will be using the pillar method.  I don't have any pics... so try to figure it out using the other ways.

                                  Step 1: Go to the pillar near where the portal will be. Sorry don't have coords =(

                                  Step 2: Many of you are having trouble with this, but it is extremely easy.  Unmounted, just jump but let go of forward before you land.  You won't land directly on it (unless you use a speed buff or something).  But, you will in a small ledge of where the pillar meets the mountain.  Then, simply press space and then slightly tap forward.  Very Easy.

                                  Step 3: Walk around the pillar, then there is a slight indent that is very noticable and jump into it. Continue doing this until you have reached as high as you can go.  From here, jump with some kind of speed boost (mount, sprint).  And then jump up the right side of the tree.

                                  Step 4: Turn directly to your right, and hop up to where you will see multiple plateaus.  From here, continue manuving over these.  Theres some that you will have to climb up the side to get over.  Then, you'll start to see some trees and grass over to your right once you get far enough.

                                  Step 5: Don't jump down where you will want to.  It won't work, you'll get stuck in an invisible barrier and then it will be a big mess.  Go around the side of the mountain to your left.  Its directly to the left of the cave from the portal.  Then go to the little ledge that is somewhat jutting out on the right side of the mountain, and jump off of that.  And viola! Your in hyjal congratz.

                                  Outlands Don't know, but I heard that someone got to outlands from the world tree and it worked perfectly.  Pry on a private server, but you never know.  He said that he got here on his level 1 alt.... I don't believe one word of this.  He can't get past level 61+ elites with a level 1.  Let alone get to hyjal.  But he could get a summon, which brings up another topic.  Either hes lying or hes not... we will never figure this out will we?  He says it takes hours to get there, unless your lucky but what would take hours in Hyjal?

                                  using auto unstuck is dangerous, and u may get banned for exploiting, cause every time u use auto unstuck, ur coords are send to blizz to -fix- the place u were stuck
                                  so blizz knows u used it to get there, and will fix it or w/e

                                    Of course you can access Hyjal, since I was last there which was wednesday, the day after the patch, I think the landscape for getting to the pillar is different I had to jump around some stalagmite in the ground and climb up to the right side of the hill, then I jumped across to the other side where the pillar was (mash jump key!). Then I had to get stuck in the corner right next to the pillar and jump to the pillar and come up short, one jump got me onto the pillar, walked around, jumped at the top to the tree, went around the platforms, tadda I was in Hyjal again.

                                    It was so much fun, 3 people in my alliance guild and 8 horde from another guild, we chatted on the horde's vent for about 2 hours after spending about an hour and half trying to get up the damn pillar.

                                    Was anything different? No, everything was the exact same as it was before.

                                  Don't be stupid, everytime the Unstuck feature is used, Blizzard logs where the problem occurred.  I'm sure its bad enough already that people are still able to get in after they made it tougher to get in, don't make them change it anymore.  You do NOT need to use Unstuck to get into Hyjal, you can do it legit just climbing mountains.  After you are peering into Hyjal itself (You see the path down below you, leading up and left), stay on top of the mountains and keep working your way left. Stay on the mountains and keep working your way parrallel to the path (Like this || for the mathematically challenged ).  Keep moving left, working your way along the mountain, eventually you won't be able to stay on the mountain anymore, just jump toward the next peak anyway.  If you fall, you should be able to walk to the path without ever encountering the invisible wall.  I'm sure Blizzard will still know people are getting into Hyjal, but the fewer people using Unstuck here, the less likely they will make it tougher to get in!
                                  BTW, as you are climbing the peaks and following the path, you will notice a large drop off with a pit on your left.  This is not the correct way obviously, so pass by this.  If you were stupid and destroyed your Hearth, you'll get stuck here and won't be able to get out.  Just stay on the mountains and follow the path like I said ;-)
