I sincerely doubt that the portal too Outland is in Dalaran, Dalaran is being rebuilt by alliance mages and the portal you speak of is in the Blasted Lands.

Getting into Dalaran is easy, and any class/level can do it. (This is 1.9)
Step 1: Use your Hearthstone. Step 2: Go to the outside of Dalaran. Step 3: Get right up against the bubble thing, facing it. Step 4: Use auto-unstuck. (this is why it only works while your hearthstone is cooling down, as the auto-unstuck will attempt to teleport you a few feet forward, similar to the mage's blink spell.) And you're in! It may not work the first time, as happened with me. In that case, wait 5 minutes and try again from another point along the edge of the energy/forcefield thing. I am proud to say i have seen the Red Dragon, it was skull elite for me at the time and have seen it 3 times flying backwards and forwards just near the place were the warriors summon cyclonion for that 2H axe quest. The red instance is Alteric Valley a Battle Field and OMG you guys are noobs (No Offense Intended). Dalaran was destroyed by Archimond after he was summoned by Kel'thuzard using the book of Midhiv that opened the portal, so the portal should still remain. My bet is the Wizards of Dalaran are rebulding the City and i recon it will be opened in the expansion for mages to do a quest that allows them to open a portal to outland, maybe it will be an Mage version of Moonglade who knows? What ever the answer it still represents that what we know of the WarCraft World is very little and that WOW will be a major competetor for MMOMRPG far into the future.
blank by 2btmaster, Score 0.00 Big pink bubble? by Caridwen, Score -0.44 the reason why there is a big purple sphere is because 1. after archimonde completely destroyed it, wizards from dalaran, ironforge, stormwind and the human alliance arrive to dalaran to rebuilt it because archimonde destroyed it but left the foundations.. and also when you go there, there will be dalaran guards guarding it while the wizards are building it with those golems and their magics, and 2. you can't see anything in it because blizzard didn't confirmed it yet, in probably will put it in the Burning Crusade..
i finally found him the best way is go around the Alterc Ruins there is a back entrance from the right side of the building once over stay to the left and hug the wall be carefull with the elites,should only take u a few seconds to get to the stone wall,there u will see bro'kin on top,of course u can always do the hard way thru the front and i dont recommend it unless u are a lvl 50 good luck

Yea that place is totaly empty nothing exept dirt and all those screenshots are just the buildings that are on the other side of the shield cause the shield is invisible from the inside u can only see the sparkles from it

Okay, in the upcoming expansion (Wrath of the Lich King) Dalaran will be moved to NORTHREND, floating in the sky. It will be a neutral city (equivalent to Shattrath), and is rumored to be led by Rhonin (a powerful Kirin'Tor mage). There.

dalaran will be the new place, like shattrath in bc. The mages must have spent a hell of a time getting it to levitate lol.
