You guys say its in Gadget, but I see it no where.  There is a Master trainer there (Buzzek Bracketswing or something)... and the list is empty for me to train.  No Thorium Tube.

I don't know if it ever was but it deffinately is NOT a trainable item and you do not get it from the master trainer in Gadget he doesn't sell anything only trains.

I found it on Buzzek Bracketswing in Gadgetzan.

It is definately in Gadget on the Master Engineer Trainer right outside the inn...found it last night.

Just checked both Winterspring and Gadgetzan and COULD NOT find recipe.

You learn to make this from the Master Engineer Trainer in Gadgetzan, right next to the Inn. He TRAINS it to you, you don't buy the paper from some vendor. Don't forget... if you're too low of level, look at the things you cannot make yet from the trainer, you'll see it in there along with the required Engineering level.

Well I can't find it in Gadgetzan, Buzzek is not training it at all for me, but he will teach me Thorium Shells, which sucks, cause I bought the Schmatic for it.  Guess I'll have to wait for Winterspring.

The Schematic IS at the trainer in Gadgetzan (confirmed July 11,2007) on Kirin Tor Live Server.

i am at him right now.....he doesnt have the plans for me.i camped the vendor for a few hours as well you think there is something that i have to buy before i get the thorium tube?

Argh.  Poster above is right.. I went to Winterspring.. nothing.. (tho did get 4 recipes I didn't have)  Used my gadget trinket and went to the trainer.. again nothing.. went to my trained list and I couldn't see it.. then I sorted by crafted items and there it was.. talk about annoyed with myself!  Check your list thoroughly!

Thanks alot, I was stuck on this for a long time, The one thing you have to remember is that the trainer is not inside the hut next to the inn, but is directly outside the inn.

If you don't see it from the trainer then it means you probably have learned it already. Although I didn't train all my engineering skills, my thorium tube is all the way below the thorium widget and next to the mithril tube in my engineering skills.
