I found him at 29:60, and for those without coords, at he western end of the canal on the park side of it, next to the wall
Update:
Remember to get the letters from upstairs in the goldshire inn, i made this mistake and was wondering why i couldnt hand in q at the toher end

More exact cords would be 29.5 , 62.0 standing right on top of him.

Caretaker Folsom is now at 42, 72 due to the re-design of Stormwind when the docks opened.

I found him beside the canal between the Park and the Mage District, on the park side.

Thank you for 'splaining that. I showed up in SW and the question mark over the dude was grey.. gotta go back and get the letter. I guess scanning thottbot for coordinates isn't always enough.

the coords 29,61 are correct, the location is between the Mage District and The Park.

Oh man I just traveled all the way from Goldshire to Stormwind (I know its not that far) But finding this guy was a bitch. Then to find out I didnt go upstairs to get the Letter!!! >=[

It's on the second floor of the Inn located in Goldshire.

After accepting this quest go upstairs to the chest. You need the letters from inside to take to Stalvan!

There is NO CHEST!... I go upstairs, deep into the room where there is 2 beds... there is a person ... in replace of the chest. Geeze =( No chest. Please help =) I'm sure other ppl are having problems probably.

The chest is in Goldshire inn, 2nd floor, between the beds of the largest, longest room, the one to the right when you come up the stairs.

I've done this quest lots of times on other toons and for some reason it won't let me open the chest THIS ONE time. Lame. I'm standing right in front of it.

Yes, since the latest patch the coordinates in SW are different (due to SW Harbor being on the map). So the correct coords are 42,72.

wow when the sprit apear i didnt even notice it and started reading the leader then a SW guard runs at it and kills it. I am so lucky

just go upstairs....in same inn....cant miss it

Also, make sure that you move away from the fireplace when you open the chest, or you will get polymorphed, and run into the fireplace, and then will be unable to get out and you have wait for the fire to kill you. Is not that fun....

When you accept this quest go upstairs in the Inn first to get Stalvan's Undelivered letter. Then go to to Stormwind 43.2/72.8

As soon as i talked to the caretaker, the ghost spawned and i was in the middle of reading the torn page, and a gaurd happened to be walking by and he one shotted her :)
