      Hi all. Honestly i was trying to understand why i have to use this garrote skill instead of some others that can deal more damage... and i cannot find a valid reason for this.
      Cam someone explain me the gain of such skill?

        Good skill on rogue vs rogue since it's DoT breaks vanish and if you're lucky, it can kill while the enemy is sprinting away. Also, since it's the only non-dagger stealthed attack besides cheap shot, can be a good alternate for sword or mace rogues.

      Especially when used with poisons, Garrote is a good attack to start with.  Picture this -- start with Garrote, get in a few hits with Sinister Strike (meanwhile, your Deadly Poison starts stacking on opponent), then hit them with a Rupture.  5 seconds into a battle, and the poor bastard is taking over 100 pts per second, in additon to your further Sinister Strikes and regular attacks!
