8: You have a chance whenever you deal ranged damage to apply an Expose Weakness effect to the target. Expose Weakness increases the Ranged Attack Power of all attackers against that target by 450 for 7 sec.
So basically, that's encouragement to drop the biggest f'ing Aimed Shot crit in existence. You'll already have a really high RAP just by wearing 8 pieces of this epic armor, and add to this the fact that anybody with 8 pieces of Dragonstalker is going to have a rediculous ranged weapon to complement it. I wouldn't doubt that you could one-shot-kill a full Valor warrior with an aimed shot after that proc.

Firstly, 2 pieces of this drop outside of Blackwing Lair.
The helm drops on Onyxia (like all Tier 2 Epic helms, 2 helms per run)
The leggings drop on Ragnaros (like all Tier 2 Epic pants, 2 pants per run)
All Tier 2 Epic Bracers are on Razorgore, 1st boss in BWL.
Beyond that, I am not sure who has what, but all the 6 other pieces are in BWL, end of story. They USED to be in MC, back in January, but were removed from the list, cause it was too much in that area. So, anyone who has the full set is either...
A: In an amazingly powerful guild who can destroy Blackwing Lair.
B: Got them from Molten Core, before the loot table changes removed them from dropping.
So, for all you hunters seeing this, and thinking "Oh, I'll just go for that instead of __________.", think again.
My guild, anyways, hasn't evene figured out the 1st room of BWL yet, so, at best, we can get the helm and pants. And we've been trying BWL since launch of it. It isn't pretty or easy.
Depends how lucky you are on drops, its razorgore for bracers, vael belt, boots from broodlord, gloves from drakes, shoulders from chrom, and chest from nef
Head and Chest from Nefarian, and other bosses are Bracers = Razorgore, Ragnaros = Leggings, Vaelstraz = Belt, Flamegor, Flamemaw, and Ebonroc all can drop Gloves, Shoulders = Chrom, Boots = Lashlayer.

My main character is a gradually leveling huntress, and this set got me drooling from the moment I laid eyes on the individual components' preview images. Once she's high enough, I hope I will have found a guild with the talent to help me pull off hunting Onyxia as often as possible.
Of course the next thing that caught my eye was the vast amount of immature posters on this particular topic. Granted, there were some shining words of wisdom that were tossed by a few brave souls at the writhing mass of filth, but likely their efforts were wasted in the process.
Thottbot is providing a service to the WoW community by giving us all a way to hand information to them and have it viewed by others. It's a guide, a way to help fellow gamers. Those who fill their posts with consistant one liners just to be annoying, lash out at other people's main characters' classes because of their own insecurity, or jest about looting something that their character would never have a use for just to get those around them angry, don't deserve the right to post on a board designed to help others.

While looking forward to replacing my GS pieces, I was drooling over getting the full 8/8 DS set. After some critical comparisons, I find my mouth dry...
How much better is the Dragonstalker Set when compared to Gianstalker? It's simple enough to compare raw stats. Here's exactly what you get when you upgrade your GS set to the DS set:
Armor - 346
Agil - 19
Stam - 7
Int - 40
Spirit - 22
Fire - 6
Nature - 10
Frost - 10
Shadow - 6
Arcane - 10
%Crit - 0
To Hit% - -1
Let's take a peek at each of these.
Armor - 346 - not a small number, just over 14% improvment
Agil - 19 - just a simple +15 agi to weapon and +3 to cloak, and you've just experienced the 'powerful' upgrade
Stam - 7 - 70hp. a dirt cheap bracer enchant. unimpressive
Int - 40 - a good amount here, darn close to double the GS set. if you are doing your job, you'll need the mana
Spirit - 22 - a good amount also, again, you will be taking advantage of this extra mana
Fire - 6 - chances are, you'll have a whole separate FR set. in day to day use, this is essentially nothing
Nature - 10 - very small amount, won't make much difference
Frost - 10 - very small amount, won't make much difference
Shadow - 6 - very small amount, won't make much difference
Arcane - 10 - very small amount, won't make much difference
%Crit - 0% - Tier 2 = no better crit %
To Hit% - -1% - Tier 2 = decreased chance to hit
This of course does not take into account the set bonuses. Mend pet range? Does not affect my day to day life. More HP/resists on pet? Good, fair amounts on each set bonus, no complaints. Full 8/8 bonus? Some may argue this one. Multi-Shot 15% is fantastic, moreso for PvP, but certainly great for PvE. Expose Weakness? Awesome, but mostly for raids when many hunters are pecking away at the mob. Useful for PvP, but not knocking my socks off. I'm still looking forward to replacing my GS gear, but now I'm not gonna be crazy eager.
The difficulty of replacing a full GS set with a DS set is substantial. The upgrade of the set is NOT substantial. If you are wearing GS now, do yourself a favor and get those enchants. You are nearly as powerful as you are going to be.

Terrible considering the relative difficulty in acquiring.
The stats are only slightly better than Tier 1.
Math wise, this full set provides you with less than 5 more ranged dps (paper doll) when compared to Tier 1.
All in all, as a Hunter currently at 5/8 of this set, i'm hoping Tier 2 sets of all classes get a buff. I feel sorry for Warlocks whose difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 is something like 4 stamina.

I cant understand whats going on.. This place is to help people out and talk about items.. so why some people seem to choose to use it differently i have no idea..
I guess nothing i say will make you change, but please, if you are taking notice of this message (and this only goes out to the ones who seem to enjoy posting immature messages), play less WoW and go outside and play in the mud or something with your friends.. get some fresh air once in a while and stop becoming angry little teens..
