How much is the mat cost? roughly. I see some people on my server charging ridiculous price for +9 Intellect.

Mat cost is about 70g, 5g per essence, 5g per shard.
That is asuming you buy from the AH.

this enchant is cool and glows yellow but it costs a $hit load, about 130 gold for the Essence and 20 gold for the Shards not good if you dont have to much cash.

Pisses me off there's nothing between the low-level +3 int enchant (requires like 110 in enchanting) and this +9 (300 enchanting and crazy mats); why go for the +9 when +22 int has only slightly crazier mats and is of much better use?

Stupid, Blizz should lower the mats and make this enchant available at lower than 300.

Are you one drugs? the difference between the two is huge!
      3 int - 9 int, 6 point difference
      9 int - 22 int, 13 point difference

Also the  cost of mats is tremendous for the 22 Intellect enchant.

Although 22 intellect would be amazing, some of us have a thing called a budget in game, and to increase said budget would hamper a thing I have, called, a life.

(of course on my realm *Dalaran* just a single large brilliant shard costs 10g, so just for 1 part of the mats is gonna cost me 150g) So until this mage of mine gets to 70 I'll just stick to the +9 intellect.

Just go to the rep panal and see how much you have left until revered. Doh.

You can get this enchant from most (If not all) enchanting      suppliers in the main cities, (Orgimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, Silvermoon City, Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, and The Exodar) (I do not think Shatt/Thallmar have this. However there is only a supply of 1 and there is a cooldown, not expensive ethier.

The +22 Intellect is bought from the Thorium Brotherhood vendor (Revered Rep)...so where does this +9 Intellect drop (since it says it's a dropped item)? Anyone know where these have popped up and about how long it took to show?

Not on my server atleast, the price for 1 Greater Eternal Essence is stupidly outragous. Damn market manipulators.

Don't expect to pay less than 70 gold for this, as the person above stated.

(I personaly spent 10 gold per essence and 12 gold per shard.)

Um... the Mighty Intellect enchant also does not have the item level 35 requirement, so +22 is actually better.

Ungodly more expensive, but better, for twinks. It's the one reason enchanters grind thorium brotherhood rep.

FYI, the +22 int enchant is for 1-hand weapons only.  The +9 int is the best spellcaster enchant you can get for anyone using staves (or any other 2-H).

Blizz needs to kick down better 2-hand weapon enchants; the current choices are extremely limited.

You can enchant two-handed weapons with 1-handed weapon enchants.
