Okay, so to get Artisan First Aid, you must complete a easy to hard quest involving saving the lives of 15 patients, allowing for a maximum of 6 to die. Was hard for me, but easier for some. If you complete the quest, you will receive Artisan First Aid and raise your level above 225 to a max of 300, as well as you receiving the title of Doctor.
Now to get any further training for say runecloth bandages and heavy mageweave...you must go to the surgeon on Theramore Isle.
anyone know what the lvl requirement is for the quest to save the soldiers? i am maxed at 225 first aid and trainers won't train me past that. i went to the surgeon in theramore, but he's got nothing for me. he DOES have a silver ! above his head, which tells me that he'll teach me more once i'm a high enough lvl for his quest. I'm lvl 31 atm, so i guess i'll have to go back at like 35 or something.
Hello all.
Now you gonna hear how HORDE!!! get Heavy Mageweave Bandage. After you done that quest with healing the 15 wounded in Hammerfall you can do first aid to lv 300. In first aid lv 240 you can make Heavy Mageweave Bandage. Just talk with the doktor in Hammerfall and he learn you to make it :) Hope you under stand me :P PS. I LOVE LASAGNE!!!
I've been trying for almost an hour and i cant get it I almost get the criticals first then injurded and badly but i can never get it i always fail. Is there Something I'm missing? This post is faded because it has a negative score.
I was wondering where to go to, so thanks for those here that helped me upgrade to Runecloth Bandage and Heavy Mageweave Bandage.
I was already at First Aid skill level 264, not realizing I could upgrade at 240 (per other comments on this post), but oh well. The doctor upgraded me! He is located on Kalimdor, the Barrens, on Theramore Isle at location 67, 48 (inside the castle closest to the Inn, make a right turn when entering the castle, then an immediate left turn). The doctor also upgrades these two for NO CHARGE! That was a nice surprise...
FOR THE HORDE!
Linen, Heavy Linen, Wool, Heavy Wool, Silk bandages all get trained from the Major Cities. Expert Healing, Heavy Silk, and Mageweave Bandages are all books bought in Brackenwall Village in Dustwallow Marsh. Artisan Healing, Heavy Mageweave, and Runecloth Bandages are trained in Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands.
you need to learn heavy mageweave, in thearmore (from guy you did quest with) for A, and in hammerfall (guy you did quest from) for H.
you will learn mageweave at 225, heavy mageweave at 240 and runecloth at 280
For those who are really having trouble, here's a solution. As soon as you accept the quest, look in you bag and you will find some triage bandages. Place those bandages in an open slot on your toolbar. Take about two steps past (behind) the good doctor and look around. Some patients should still be alive. Using your A or D key, you can spin around in a circle. Click on each patient around the room and see which ones you're In Range of. Adjust your position so that you can reach the most beds from one single spot. By this time the quest should have failed. No problem! Don't move from your postion. Just abandon the quest and restart it.
Use the A or D key and spin in that one spot select a patient and click on the Triage Bandage on your toolbar. As soon as you start channeling the cure, spin around, select the next patient and as soon as the channeling ends, click on the Triage Bandage on you toolbar again. Repeat 'til you cure 15. Don't worry about the farthest bed. If you save all the Crits, Bads and Injured closest to you, you'll complete the quest even if a few die behind you. Congrats Doctor. :-)
Took me forever to work out that you needed 240 First aid for this, went insane on my rogue looking over the whole of bloody azeroth and eastern kingdoms finding First aid trainers :P
finished the quest on my 4th try btw, needs a little practice imo ^^
horde-side trama quest seems easier than the alliance; 6 rugs vs. 12 beds I think?
