Rare panther. Doesn't look all that amazing (not worth going out of your way to tame), and doesn't drop anything of value.

I haven't gotten this cat to the same level as my stalker, but I think it has an armor bonus, for a cat at least. Here are the numbers if you want to figure it out:

Stalker at level 12 comes with 580 armor
Duskstalker at level 9 comes with 412 armor
Mangy at level 2 comes with 22 armor
Young Nightsaber of level 1 with 21 armor

If you do a polynomial regression, it fits really tightly if you don't include that duskstalker.

I got this beast as a pet. It is now lvl 60, an I find the stats on it not too bad (theese are stats  while unbuffed and the cat being happy)..

of abilities I have this for the moment:

though I have no idea if theese are good stats or not, because this is the only pet I've leveled up to lvl 60. I'm hoping to reach at least 62 in dps when getting bite rank 8 in BRS. At least I'm happy with this pet, it hold aggro and can deal a lot of damage in my opinion..

anyone know the respawn time?

I am a level 60 Hunter and I have had the same pet seince lvl 12 to now: a moonstalker (nothing special/rare just a regular old moonstalker from teldrassil) I wanted to know how i get all these special abilitys and stuff all he has now is Growl, cower(which is good for saving his life when low on mana), and Claw idk how I get stealth and all those other abilitys. I thought that as i got to lvl 60 they would show up at trainer but they never did.

Also I was level 60 when they started teh pet training with additional armor/stats/resistaanses etc. and I trained some of em but then I ran out of training points so I guessed I had to go get more. But now I dont gain training points any more idk why. Someone plz help me

I saw the note on Thotbott stating that the mob had not been seen for awhile and may no longer exist. I found him today 2/27/06 on the Alexstrazsa server at 52,77. Still alive and well.

Seriously everytime I look for this punk I find him. Is he honestly suppose to be a rare?

This is very comparable to other pets of the same level.  As said above, there's nothing special here.  The skin isn't even unique.

can any1 show me a screenshot of Dust thing, screenshoted by them (lol)? i would like to know were do u find him...

My first pet, StarDust, is a Duststalker. Here's a screenshot of where I took him back and we killed another one.

He wasn't hard to find at all; I found him right away.  He doesn't come with anything special, true, but if you like how he looks, he's the highest one there with that skin.  =)  You hardly ever see anyone with one of these black spotted ones in upper levels.  When they get bigger, they are gorgeous.  Everyone always has the Rake, Humar, that white lion, or a Ghost Saber.  I've only seen this one once or twice over level 20.  He'll make an unusual pet when we get up there. ;)

I named him Meatshield.

I found a duskstalker at 60,76. Nothing really special, but kind of an interesting side note.

Only real distinction is the dps was a little higer. I had a lvl 9 nightsaber stalker and it had 7.4 dps while the duskstalker had 8.1.

P.S. - Both of these numbers come during "Content" mood level.
