Wow it sucks being stuck at cooking lvl 92 cause horde have to kill elites in order to get anyhting worth cooking to lvl your skill, lol, wtf, everythign is in westfall that i need to kill...

I'm getting a ton of crawler meat on the shores of Auberdine in Darkshore. The crab and crawler creatures are level 9-14 so it's fairly easy to get them. I'm a Night Elf so I don't know what their availability is on Horde lands.
Can also be found on Spined Crawlers at the Zoram Strand in Ashenvale, right beside the horde fishing village.

Anyways, my best advice for us hordies is to head there via the Zep to STV, run up through darkshore and kill all kinds of coyotes and crawlers for our cooking needs. Coyotes range in levels below 15 or so, and the crawlers can be found alond the shore and away from prying ally eyes. Granted, I am on a PVE server, so others might have a bit of a hard time... The powers that be really need to fix this... as horde, I can barely get my cooking about 75 or so. Happy Hunting! Hope it helps!
Yes, for the hordies, go to Zoram Gar in Ashenvale and kill the crawlers there. I got 20 crawler meat in about 15-20 mins or so.
I dont understand y u would look for crawler meat, yes it will give you a buff, but so will strider stew and the striders are eveywhere in the barrens. Get the recipe in crossroads. Strider stew will give u the same buff the only differance is crab cake will lvl u a little further but by the time it matters u should have more recipies. If lvling cooking is all u want to do smoked sagefish will keep lvling it when u go as far as u can with stider stew. The smoked fish will give u a mana buff and can be fished easily near tarren mill
Oh after thought. Strider stew needs apples buy them from fruit vendor in orgrimmer My above comment about strider stew is for the horde. I didnt make that clear :)
it sucks being a high lvl and a low lvl cook, its a pain to get it up to lvl but its worth i9t, where can i get this stuff?
I'm a Lvl 34 Undead Rogue who recently developed an interest in cooking for the buffs. For clam and crawler meat I took the zep to Grom'Gol, headed north to Duskwood, then west to Westfall. Best to be in stealth to get by the protectors around MoonBrook, then keep heading west overland to LongShore where there are crawlers galore. Also, there are some boar and coyote on the land, but you have to be careful while going after them to avoid the mounted protector. If you get killed at least you're close to the Sentinel Hill cemetery. Once I picked up the meat I needed I hearthstoned back to the Undercity.
I leveled my cooking to 150 fairly quickly that way.
Best place I found to get this is longshore (beach at nw westfall) 40,12, they regen almost instantly, also drop crawler claw, both are good for cooking recipes. Sea shells also drop that you can open and get clam meat, and the occasional pearl. Got 30 crawler meat, and 30 crawler claw in about 10-15 mins, and didnt have to leave the spot once. Critters are low/mid teens, went fast for me because i was lvling cooking on my 58 dk, but should be easy for anyone 20 and up to do it quick.

when u kill the crabs up north in westfall they respawn instantly so just go around killing them. got x270 crawler meat in 30min the clams that drop increase the crawler meat to. selling in AH atm. lvl 76 orc warrior- draenor

horde can get to top of westfall cos we aren't lazy F***s I farmed this stuff at lvl 20 and made like 200g from an hour although u do make more $$ on ally Add Comment
