why are ppl on the internet so unessecerily rude?

its a sold item which is hunter/shaman so i guess that means hunters and shamans are free to buy it if they choose to. as for if it is worth it or not.. please keep your opinion to yourself, ppl can decide for themselves if they want it or not. happy hunting! :D

All of you people expounding on Enhancement as the end-all pvp shammy spec are shortsighted.  Don't get me wrong, I love the enhance tree and plan to spec to it when my gear will support it's a good time.  Like I read on a post off the shammy forums, "when you lose it's like any other loss.  But when you win, it's a spectacular win."

Thing is, sure you can 1-shot this and 2-shot that.  Big WF procs with this set and TUF, even bigger with a crit or two (or wtfthree O_o).  Follow up stormstrike if the poor clothie isn't dead.  If that doesn't proc WF either and you still need to pour more hate on your poor bloody squirming target, smash it's face with earthshock and delight in the 20% damage buff.  If all goes well you've delivered an insane amount of damage in about 1.5 seconds.

But you know what...  it doesn't always go well.  we don't brag about it, but we've all had fights where we don't proc WF.  at all.  we stand there hopping around the target waiting for our lumbering 3.Xs bricks-on-sticks to wind up for another swing, spamming the crap out of shocks in the mean time for all we're worth in an attempt to fill the void between swings with some kind of damage.  80% of the time WF won't proc on the first swing.  they could even dodge or parry it.  It's even better to blow stormstrike only to have that swing not proc either, or have it get dodged/parried.  most PvP fights will yield 0-1 windfury and a crit or two.  some will yield none of either...  about the same number that will yield both in the combination you're looking for.  What it amounts to is you running up to the target (maybe toss some lightning or a shock first for style) and hitting it with a big stick, hoping against odds for voodoo magic to kill your target for you.  But like I said, don't get me wrong...  it is a fun build and I plan on playing it some more.

Those of you that say people who say elemental spec shammies are retards have clearly never given it a proper try.  just like people who say stormstrike is for retards.  The thing about elemental spec is that it's more reliable.  The DPS with lightning mastery is great even without crits, and the crit rate is pretty damn good with talents... and you're critting for 100% damage. also, if I understand things right, +spell is added before the 1s cast time reduction, so you get a very good DPS boost from +spell gear (the buff is added as if it were 3sec cast, not 2 sec).  also people that say your mana is done after 1 fight are coming from experience with enchance gear mostly.  when geared for elemental spec, you'll have significantly more mana than enhance.  I won't go into elemental mastery vs nature's swiftness.  that's another post for another day and I've already written plenty.
