Just to clarify since the tooltip can be a bit misleading...
This spell works on all friendly targets, including yourself.
It gives you a total mana regeneration rate of 500% of normal (remember, *increased* by 400%, so that's a total of 500% since you start at 100%).
It maintains that whether you are casting or not (100% while casting OF the increased amount).
So basically, just cast this and keep going while your mana recharges at a mad rate.
Just make sure you don't cast it on a class that doesn't use mana by accident!
With organised healing rotations this spell isn't needed in MC. I've healed as 13/33/5 through most bosses. Sure resto with NS and Innervate is nice for new encounters, but its almost like alliance insisting all their priests are dwarven. Easymode.

Druids are made for flexibility, a good druid can tank, do damage and heal.
I've seen 34druids take on onyxia (find the movie at warcraftmovies.com) and there they had all they needed for a succesful run.
A druid in bearform tanked onyxia, some resto healed him and the other team, they even switched between healing and damaging in catform or moonkinform.
Sure a priest is better than a druid on healing, but can he rez the maintanker if he dies? NO!
Only druids can rez while in combat, and everyone will be in combat in MC and Onyxia.
And the high amount of health gained from the rez is enough to continue just like nothing has happened.
And pls stop complaining about druids being better than the real classes, or worse if u want.
The strength of druids is at the same time their weakness, Shapeshift.
Their ability to shapeshift gives them a wide area of playstyle but they really dont have much focus on one thing.
The gear is one thing u can do to atleast try and focus on one thing, Int and Spr is for healing/spellcasting, Str and Sta is for Bearform/tanking and Agi and Str/Sta is for catform/damaging.
Oh, and for those who think a feral druid can't heal... check the talent Heart of the Wild.
It gives 20% increase on Int in casterform, really good for healing don't u think?
Respecced to balance now, and ppl are saying that I heal even better than a holypriest either Im really good or druids simply is better than priests.
My Party wipes some times but those not my problem since the damn warriors starts charging a big group of mobs when my mana is at half.
Also, don't u think it's wierd with a party with 2warriors at the same level as you are not able to hold agro on 4mobs so they starts killing me and even if I say to them to take the mobs off me, they don't!
Anyway, druids are not only healbots, nor is priests... Shadowpriests can deal loads of damage in pvp.

I think it's pretty fair to druids there is a low pop of them all, guilds making them go resto. "get this or get out" Making it hard for us to solo / pvp or w/e dont think for a second druids are over powered if anything druids are weakest class if not built right, dont like it?
Go make a druid!...
Straight from Blizzard:
When patch 1.11 releases, Innervate will become a base ability for all Druids, trainable at level 40. Once the patch is live, any Druid who formerly had the Innervate talent will instead have the "Swiftmend" talent, which has been added to the Druid Restoration tree, replacing Innervate as the 31 point talent. This new ability will consume a Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect to produce an instant heal.

First I smell an Innervate nerf comin on 1.11
Second:
In moonkin form you can not cast anything but Balance spells - Innervate is a Resto so no innervate unless they shift out.
Third:
Innervate on a feral druid wont help them that much. Why? Mana regen is based of +SPI. How much spirit gear does a feral druid wear? Frankly a feral druid is better off downing a pot like they do now.
Remember Innervate is STILL a purgable buff. Just look at all the counters above. Innervate has a very distinct visual effect. Any good player knows when its cast and can counter right away.
My .02
As a feral druid, while im in my feral gear I dont have much spirit, but at the same time I also dont have a ton of mp. Yes we're better off using a pot, but at the same time having the option to innervate would rock.
Innervate will not help a druid in PvP much. Not the main purpose of it. What do all of the ultimate talents for the druids do? They help PARTY members. Innervate is why end-game guilds want resto druids, not just because they are better healers but because when the main priest or mage is running low on mana, druids can pop innervate on them. If the druid is low on mana, they can pop into Bear or Cat form and do something else.
edit: dueled the balance/resto druid in our guild again multiple times last night. Guess what? He never ran out of mana. And on several occasions got all his health back. Still prolonged his death. Had to use his pvp trinket against me to actually win.
Why do you guys keep saying "Had to use his pvp trinket against me to actually win." like it's taboo? He got the trinket fair and square from PvP. If you don't like it, stop raiding for an hour and go get yours XD
ok,m
noob question,
the tooltip is misleading me.
i undersood that if u keep cating u get 100%. but if u stop casting u get 400% or 500%
can someone clarify this plz
Great, in the next patch all druids at lvl 40 can purchase this off trainers, but im not sure wot resto druids now get.
2 lines under the patch note for innervate being moved
"Swiftmend: This new talent has been added to the Druid Restoration tree, replacing Innervate as the 31 point ultimate talent. It consumes a Rejuvenation or Regrowth aura to produce an instant heal."
I've read a lot of post about druid complaining about their guilds forcing them to be resto. As a druid i think feral druid are most enjoyable. i think these 2 talent trees are the best for either soloing or PvPing while they are not so bad at groups wither.

Nature swiftness is too good to leave out and with innervate being free in the next patch this talent treed will be all a druid needs
Becomes trainable for druids at lvl 40 after 1.11
no longer a talent--now a spell trainable by druids of any spec at level 40.
edited...
swiftmend does not strike me as fantastic
Rejuvenation costs 360 mana. Swiftmend is insanely good.

Swiftmend is a NEW spell and the old Innervate posts are now irrelevant and very unhelpful... create a NEW thread please :)
When i want to use this, it says.. invalid target
how can i use this
This spell save me every day :) I thanks to Blizzard :)
I think any Druid that has PvPed significantly will disagree with you on that. The only restoration spell that really makes you a giant is Nature's Swiftness. Without it you will have trouble healing yourself against classes that had multiple interrupts, purges, silences, and fears (just about everyone but other druids).
NS is not essential. A tricky druid can use barkskin, roots, and fake heals to survive. But nothing beats an instant 3K heal.
Talents to make a Druid a PvP king: Nature's Grasp, Feline Swiftness, and Nature's Swiftness.
NS is awesome.
But a druid with swiftmend will have both.
You can't act like NS alone is greater than both NS and swiftmend.
Is actually very useful if your a fan of mana regen from spirit then u can just chill there do rejuv wait till it does 3 ticks then do swiftmeld and u get a good amount of mana saved and a decent amount of healing done.
doesnt gain bonus from healing?
can it crit?
all those comments about innervate unrelated to this topic, damn. not much info
for example i saw some druid with 1800 healing
wouldnt that be base rejuvination heal + bonus healing? say 2k something?
the way i see this ability + lifebloom =arena ownage
EDIT: i respecced i was too anxios to try resto and i love it, druids r best ehalers in the game and even better in PVP than any others
this spell gains +healing bonus from rejuvination i heal with this for 1800 with only 380 healing or so at lvl 64, and its an instant cast, my damn 70 priest's flash heals dont even get to 1800 and i got 1300 healing
Ur priests healing sucks than
Thank you! Someone knows how awesome heals for druids are!
Now Swiftmend is not for serious heals--in my opinon--unless you have some serious bonus healing or something. It is much more for efficiency and time control. Whenever I see someone hit past 50% health; Regrowth > Rejuv. > Swiftmend > 1 more Rejuv = more time to work on someone else's healing needs or a chance to help w/ damage, which this move along w/ some other HoTs allow me to do. I use swiftmend only in these cases, or if a priest or pally thinks they can heal more than me :)
Somehow no1 here mentions the BEST thing about SM... You can wait till the LAST second of your HoT, and THEN blow it up with SM. This way u get BOTH the HoT effect, and Swifmend heals you for full amounts worth. Its like both eating your cake, and still having it at same time. Try it out. :)
Thank you for that last comment, I swear people are all moanin about how horribly mana inefficient this is, ever think of waiting to use it?
The question is, since it says "12 sec. of Rejuvenation OR 18 sec. of Regrowth" which will it choose? Or do both do the same amount of healing so it doesn't matter? Or is it just misleading and eat both?
