I am a paladin.
Being a paladin isnt a lot of fun. Put yourself in my shoes. All I am good at is staying alive. In every other area someone is better than me. Warriors/druids out tank me, mages/rogues/almost everyone out damages me, priest/druid out heal me. All anyone wants me to do in raids or pvp is to sit back and be the heal/buff bitch. The truth is, ive pvp'd paladins on warriors, mages, rogues, priests, shamans, warlocks, druids, and hunters, and despite the insane survivability (bubble/lay/heals) I can always come out on top. If you think that paladins cant die, then think again. By the way, you cant just chain bubbles as a previous poster suggested. Theres a thing called forbearance, which prevents you from becoming invincible for some time after you bubble up. Also, keep in mind that paladins are NOT the grandmasters of running away with the flag. Mages with blink, rogues with dash, warriors with charge/intercept, shamans with ghost wolf, druids with cat form, hunters with aspect of the cheeta can outrun us, and we have little or no ranged capability with which to catch them.
Try to catch one with the shield on cooldown...not that that hard since it's a 5 minutes cooldown...and he cannot sprint out
A paladin can beat another character once every 5 minutes...not that overpowered...in truth a tad underpowered...and you can disengage once you see him use it and restart the fight thereafter, a mage can polymorph the paladin and restart the battle alltogether, now a paladin without a shield...
Shaman totems dont stack! they have different kinds like earth and air and fire you cant have two of the same kind but you can have all of different kinds soo yeah not earth and earth but like earth and fire or something :)

U have completely missed the point twice now. I never said that bubbles and LoH was the only thing to a paladin. I was explaining to those who think this is cheap. Mages can spellsteal and shammies can purge blessing of protection, and preists can mass dispel any of the bubbles. That removes some of the power our bubbles once had.
There is a lot more to pallies than bubble and LoH. I win 90% of my duels and 1 vs 1 pvp. The only time I really use the bubbles are when its me vs a whole group of 70's. Then i might bubble hearth, but i never really use the bubbles in pvp, and i still kick major ass. got nad, u are a nub, go play a pally higher that lvl 8. Then u can talk, until then, STFU.

Spellsteal and purge can get rid of Blessing of Protection because BoP doesn't protect against spells. The other 2 bubbles make u immune to spells, so purge and spellsteal wont work. Mass Dispel can destroy any of the bubbles

All this bunch of little children whining because of a skill in a game should get out and get a freaking life... post infos about spells here and ur experiences, dont start flamce wars about classes and ur "bad experiences" in pvp, cause thats what its all about. U cant win everytime so just accept it. i remember someone saying that oncve a pally has bubbled they can only heal themselves?

This is the starting bubble we get. (lvl 6) After a while we get Divine Shield, which every palla is using. No high lvl pallas (except noobs, or ppls with others on CD) use this bubble. Hello! There's been alot of negative talk about Paladins in this thread so i would like to point some things out. First thing, heealing. Paladins actually make great healers because if specced right, they dont lose mana very fast because if said pally has 5 points in illumination (holy tree line) their healing criticals have a 100% chance to return 60% of the spells base mana. Also with that comes Divine Favor (holy tree line) which makes their next Flash of Light, Holy Light, or Holy Shock, have a 100% chance to critically hit so there's your mana back. Another thing, Light's Grace (holy tree line) with three points in it, is going to let every Holy Light spell you cast have a 100% chance to make your next Holy Light spell have it's casting time reduced by 0.5 so that's a 2 second cast Holy Light every time. Next, tanking. In the Protection spec, pallys right off the bat get bonuses to their armor and shield. Also, paladins are GREAT at holding threat, IF they have alot of spell damage. Why should paladins have spell damage? because their seals and consecration USE spell dmg, so if said pally has alot of spell dmg, their attacks will do alot more dmg which means they generate more threat =). Lastly, dps. Paladins in the retribution line are expected to have a hard hitting 2hander so they can dish out some nice dmg. The retribution spec helps dps pallys in many ways. First their seals get bonuses like reduced mana, increased critical chance and such. Another thing is vinidcation. With all three points in vindication the target said pally is attacking has a 15% reduction to all stats i.e. stamina,int, etc.. Another thing is that retriubution pallys get reall nice bonuses to regular and holy damage in this line (or maybe it's just holy ^.-). So there you go, Paladins can be great at healing, tanking, and dps. =) Oh shoot i should've just put this in the paladin forums...oh well, im not typing all of this all over again lol.
I have to say this is the one spell you will use the most lvl 10-16. Its the perfect way to escape, heal, or pass the agro on to someone else.
