      Why cant my wind serpent learn rank 3 of lightning breath? Do i need to tame a new higher level wind serpent to get a higher level of lightning breath?

      yes to upgrade to rank three you have to train a new one. once you do that your current pet and learn that new ab

      I just got the rare wind serpent in Feralas to test out Go for the Throat focus dumping (it works well), and its Rank 5 lightning breath says 78-91 nature damage, but he regularly does 220 nature damage.  I have some spell damage on my gear from 2.5, so it's not much.  Does this ability scale with RAP?  Is it one of the new scaling things in 2.0.1?

      It drives me crazy that there's no rank one in the game. Maybe it's been added but as far as I know there is no windserpent that teaches it.

      rank 1 is from the thunderbirds (or what are they called) near Camp Taurajo.

      does anyone have any info on this ability's CD? or there's no mistake and combined with Go For The Throat it's a friggin' machine gun?

      I used a wind serpent from Wailing caverns all the way until 48, trying to upgrade lightning breath to its next rank now :)

      this thing with go for the throat and the beast tallent to increase regen by 100%, your windserpent is a mad dps cannon, it dumps focus well for damage

      As of recent patches your RAP does in fact increase your pets attack power AND your pets spell damage (highlight your RAP in game to see the exact numbers based on your RAP at that time)

      And lastly with no cooldown, focus dumping for roughly 200dmg a hit, plus its normal attaks, plus your sots, properly played your hunter is mad DPS in any condition :) hope I answered all questions

      is this possible? I don't see the skill anywhere but I clearly have a level 45 wind serpent...
