The pople in Faldirs Cove is Blackwater raiders, and if you do missions for em, bloodsail buccaneers will get even more pissed at you. If you check war with bb, and kill em you get 5 rep for bsb and lose 25 for bb
Just avoid all Booty Bay quests and it's a lot easier. I started killing the BB members in Faldir's Cove at 39. It's slow going, but you get loot and XP unlike the bruisers later on. I got the "friendly" rep at level 44 (rested most of the time). Sure, you have to avoid the entire cartel, but I did it with an alt anyway :P This seems like a more practical way to do it, if you're doing it alone that is. If you have a group that all want the hat too, might as well wait for bruisers and do it much faster. I'll repost when I get the quest and my hat :)

Just to clear up any confusion from the number of incorrect posts here, I thought I'd talk to you kids today about The Bloodsails and Booty Bay.
1- Yes, you must kill Booty Bay goblins and only Booty Bay goblins to gain Bloodsail faction. (+25 Bloodsail rep, - 250 Booty Bay rep a kill) 2- The most effective way to do it is with an alt that has avoided all Booty Bay quests, otherwise you'll at least double your grinding time, as the Bloodsails will hate you a lot. 3- Upon reaching "Friendly" with the Bloodsails, you can get the quest from one of the Bloodsail boats. 4- If you're going solo, the best way to kill the non-elite Baron and his right hand man (depending on class, of course) is by grouping with a tank friend with positive Booty Bay rep grab aggro and help you take them down. The trick is to die as close as possible to where they're positioned, and rez as your friend takes aggro. They run in fear, so be ready. Your friend will lose a negligable amount of rep, so its not bad. Other random facts concerning the whole matter: - The parrot does not fight, it is only a luxury pet. - You cannot get passed honored with the Bloodsails, but continuing to grind for rep beyond friendly is silly, and will only further hurt your rep with the other 3 goblin cities. There is nothing else available from the Bloodsails besides this one quest. - Yes, you can kill the Blackwater Raiders in Faldir's Cove behind Stromgarde for 5 times less rep a kill starting around 39. While you get XP and a few random drops, this is very impractical, especially if you want to get your .5 tier armor set later on, or do other fun quests that take you through Goblin cities before you begin ruining your rep with them. - Getting rep back is a long process, no matter how you do it. 1 point a kill by killing Bloodsails, Venture Co., or other random factions that Booty Bay doesn't like. There are two repeatable quests in Feralas, by the boat that takes you to Feathermoon, that give you 75 rep each with the entire cartel. This is the most effective way to grind it back...if you have that kind of patience. - Be prepared for lower members of the opposing faction (horde/alliance) doing quests in Booty Bay to try and kill you, thinking it's an easy, free HK. - Enjoy the damn hat and create a macro to respond to tells when people ask where you got it. Linking it in the trade channel is always an amusing sight. Banneker 60 Human Priest - Twisting Nether

It's hell of a lot easier to get your rep back if you start grinding bloodsail rep at a lower level in the Arathi highlands Then have a high level friend jump around with a little aoe for some hours in one of those places where mobs give +5 rep with one of the factions. Guys, a great time to do this if you are at a slightly low level is during New Year's Eve. All the bruisers are drunk and on the ground, so when you kill any NPC in town none of them will come to your rescue. Great way to grind rep with BBs.
Ohoy, im revered with the bloodsail buccaneer's (yes that's possible, just kill jazzrik in badlands for +1 rep at 11999/12000) and there's a way to be exalted with both factions(well, bloodsail will take ALOT more time couse it's only 1 rep ewery 5-10 min after revered) there's a BB Q in DM north wich reQ to safe some goblins, and that gives you ....think it's 350 rep with BB,not sure, but you can farm that WITHOUT loosing any BSB rep at all,and btw a big screwup at blizz by putting TCG masterr in booty bay,by that they're rly loosing alot of buisness from those who are bloodsailers, enjoy
Any more question, even want help with farming, got few swabbys in the back to help, whisper Captain Jakki Sparrow(Jakki if ya didn't get that) Captain of Celtic Leaf Army's crew,Admiral of the Bloodsail Buccaneer's and a farmer for Deathcharger's reins hope this is helpfull, aint ever enough of bloodsailers
TBH never been to DM north, and no there's no rank wich sais Bloodsail Admiral above your head.
Btw,found a 3 man way to get like 1k rep per 5 mins,,prot pala and 2 DPS wars(or any other DPS,) ,tankadin goes in middle of booty bay,by that pulling mmass amount on goblins, then runs back to the BS house, there we nuke 20-40 goblins, that way you can get from hated to hostile easy in 1 day if you do this all day and have enough food/water,my mate stlteagurk jusr got that hat yesterday by this, from UF to friendly, cheers to him,,now sitting up with my mage friend and that tankadin helping them get bloodsail rep, half a year since i got the suit and im still doing thiss shit:S Re: Bloodsail Buccaneers by Captain Jakki Sparow, Score 0.37

been revered with the bloodsail buccaneer's for....year and a half maybe and finaly decided to cut the crap and gain BB rep again, fishing contest's trinket reward brings an old pirate even closer to sea, boats a bonus and TCG will be easier to use,now there's this,i have to zerg my sack of coins for all the silk cloth i need to use to get my rep back, there's no such thing as a royal pirate,we all have to goal to gain the most.this time there's only 2 factions to use,a fake pirate 1 with good rewards and a real pirate 1 with simply a suit.since blizzard seems never gonna improve that i'll advice ewery1 to rejoin the steamwheedle cartel as soon as you got the suit. Make a raid, use no more than 10 people imo or else it gimps your rep gains. AOE the Booty Bay guards (this WILL cause you to lose rep with BB, and you need to turn in silk to bring it back up) Once you are friendly with Bloodsail: Go to Bloodsail Cove and pick up http://thottbot.com/q1036 Travel way down south to Wild Shore (3 boats all together, search the boats for turn in.) Turn it in and pick up http://thottbot.com/q4621 There is ANOTHER quest that at this time does not have info in thottbot called Dressing the Part. Rewards a pirate uniform, complete this too (requires Friendly) Now you must travel back to Booty Bay and kill the two NPCs by the Horde flight master, both level 60ish. To get rep back with Booty Bay and Steamwheedle, do http://thottbot.com/q9259 Cake for 70s, Good luck, hope this post helps. Ours was 2 Bladestorm warriors, 2 ret pallys, rogue and a few mages. I just finished killing over 600 Booty Bay Bruisers and I must say I am pleased with the results. I like the title and the hat, and it only took me 4.5 hrs to get from 28000/36000 hated to friendly with Bloodsail Buccaneers. I'm a lvl 75 BM Huntard (which is why it was so easy). Although I found a few tricks that make things go alot faster.
1. All the named npc's, when attacked, will spawn 1 to 2 bruisers. take advantage of this by not killing the npc, because if u kill the bruiser that was spawned, another with spawn in its place. this saves time, as I found, because i could kill 10 or 15 bruisers using one npc as "bait". 2. Bring extra ammo, pots, bandages, and all those goodies. Whenever u run out, u have to stop and waist time to go back to another town or city. After the first time i ran out of supplies, I stocked up and didnt have to leave at all till i was done. 3. This ones for Hunters only. as of patch 2.4 I believe, disengage actually sends you hurling backwards. If you get in a pinch, which will happen from time to time, put your back toward the bay and disengage.swim away till u are not in combat, then call out your pet and go up the ramp. there are plenty of bruisers at the ramp to kill to keep getting that rep. I only died once using this method, and it was because it was 4 in the morning and i was getting sleepy. 4. If you are on a normal server, and don't want to be flagged for pvp, stay away from the bankers and auctioneers. they will flag you for pvp, and thats something that could cause a problem and delay your rep gains. I hope these help. and just FYI, u will be hated by all goblin town (booty bay, gadgetzan, ratchet, and pretty much everywhere there is a goblin post, including Marshall's Refuge in Un'Goro). I read the list from a link in a previous post of what u cant do with hated rep from goblins, and one thing i would like to add is u can't buy Noggenfogger Elixir any more. I didnt think about it before, now i cant get any more. so STOCK UP if you care about those. Bloodsail Admiral Mechazoid - Malygos Re: Bloodsail Buccaneers by XxKyleownsxX, Score 0.00
If you care about cooking, make sure you do the lvl 225 cooking quest *before* grinding your Bloodsail rep. The questgiver for Artisan cooking is in Gadgetzan, so you won't be able to get near him until you get your goblin rep back, which is slow going.
I wasn't thinking ahead, so now I'm sitting at cooking 225, lots of orange mats taking up space, and hated with all goblin factions AND Bloodsail. Good times. :D Friend of the BloodSails !!! by Grayskull1982, Score 0.00 Re: Bloodsail Buccaneers by murthag10, Score 0.00
If you want easy but slow Bloodsail Buccaneer rep, you could go to Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands. I'm telling you, it's very slow, but there are no guards there. That means you can get rep before 80!

Heres an easy Rundown.
Get Hated with Booty Bay, in the Process you get friendly with Bloodsail. Once you are done with that, go to "Pretty Boy Dunken" right outside of bootbay, he gives you a quest. You go to one of the boats on the opposite side of booty bay. You turn that quest in to the guy and he gives you 2 more, but the one is just to get your uniform. The other You go kill 2 people in Booty Bay by the HORDE FP, THEY ARE NOT ELITES!!!! (horde easiest way to get there is just fly using the FP for there, YES you will get attacked by ONE guy once you land) Once you kill them & turn the quest in you get ur hat that has a usage of summoning your bird. --Easy said-- =D *-* 80 DK *-* Re: Bloodsail Buccaneers by bridgeman, Score 0.00
