look this is for hunters only because it has good damage and not very good stats,so as in a rouge would want something with crit on it more than a bow that does good damage so hunters only

I got this 5 days ago.. Boy im happy! ;D .. And this is not only a hunter weapon.. its a dps weapon.. U FUCKING retarded warrior.. omg, unbelieveable

im srry but u must have met some horrible hunters to take a staff..havent seen a hunter with a staff since about lvl 20 anyway sir the same could be said about warriors taking every melee weapon and a fair amount of the ranged weapons aswel, needing it for an off spec or just cuz they "could" use it.
I will however agree that hunters should not be the only class alowed to roll on this. In the case that the hunter passes or if he and the rest of the raid do not care if you roll on it by all means roll on it get you a nice new pulling weapon.
But please dont steal this from out from under our nose. And as a side note dont judge an entire class by the actions of a few... they will dig their own ditch in time.

I'm really confused atm.. I have both this bow and the Ancient Amani Longbow.. I'm a BM hunter and just can't decide which one is good for me.. any suggestions? :S

So this dropped for me on my first ever kara run. My guild leader was in the raid (also a hunter) and was using an S2 crossbow. I am also a hunter and I pass for him because he said he has downed the boss like 20 times and it had never dropped. So to be fair, since is he is guild leader, I let him have it. He won it cuz no one else rolled, but he rolled a really low number. Oh and my bow is melmorta's. But I think he should of let me roll because his bow is superior compared to mine. I felt I "needed" it more, but anyways, just felt it was a little unfair and I had to vent alittle. =/

Ok, So I had the Valanos, and was looking to upgrade, I put in the time and got the Merciless Gladiator.  So my Question, as I am now starting to run Kara, should I roll need for this?  Would this actually be an upgrade?

Got this today since no hunters wanted.  Actually replaced the Twisted Blades of Zarrack(spl?) from Teron Gorefiend with it.  Prefer the AP over the Crit.  I just don't throw/deadly throw enough in raiding to justify keeping a thrown weapon.  I switch for PvP though.

All i seem to see on the BM forums for hunters is GO get yourself a Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle!  Its the best gun for BM spec steady shot rotation!

There's an obvious difference in DPS.  The bow being greater 83.3 vs 79.1  And stats... bow has more agi and AP.  The speed I think is what they're all about.  2.90 vs 2.70

But honestly, at the very worst, wouldn't these weapons be equal?  losing a certain amount of steady shots being made up by +stats and +solid DPS?  And with lag a factor, wouldn't the 2.90 bow offer you more time to screw up and still get your shot rotation in?

I ride at about 83 - 130 latency, and currently sport the 3.00 speed gun from Blood Furnace (i'm lvl 64) and my shot rotation is shaky at times with my macro (it has a 3 second clearing time in the macro, recommended by several sites).


SO why do people right away point at Wolfslayer?  Is it because this is easier to get?  VS clearing to prince?  Pugs on Zul'jin have no problem getting to prince, I did one on my epic'd ret pala and we didn't have a single death until the prince, and we still downed him 1st try.
