Uhm....no. Actually te combination of giant range, both mana consuming and manaless dps, a pet and never to underestimante: almost infinity aggro resetting makes hunters the #1 dps class in the T4 and most of T5 fights. In our Raid hunters usually top out any other other dps class unless it is an AoE encounter like Morogrim. 1200 dps constained over 2 Minutes without drawing aggro on a single target and that even without the pet dps wich you dont have to do shit to have it add up with your damage....that beats most (not all, but most) "equally geared" fire mages BY FAR. stop blaming one of the best dps classes in the game for the mistakes of the hunters you know.

Only to clear this up: Yes, any dps class can come out #1, it mostly depends on the player and second on the type of encounter....melee puts out more dps, but is usually handicapped by movement, knockback and the likes...multiple targets are an entire different thing then single target and so on....afflicition warlocks are commonly considered better dps than fire mages afaik....just why so often someone who doesn't know shit about the possibilities and realities of classes says that hunters suck...i dont know. btw: this sword is more of a mage weapon than a hunter's.
