technically the above person is correct about not being able to buy arena points - you can however buy a spot on a good team and get points that way, you will just need to play at least 30% of their games, so most likely they will let you in on 3 of their ten games, you pay them x amount of gold for that week, and you get the points they normally get- personally i wouldnt recommended it, because you can easily get on someones arena team the day or 2 before points are assigned, as there are always lazy people who will wait to the last minute and need a partner

so i guess in the end, you CAN use the bought gold from the chinese farm community to buy points

You have to play a minimumof ten games, on the same team. You can play more on the same team or play on one of your other size of teams. If you switch teams in the middle of the week, you will loose whatever you could of possibly received from the team you left. All in all, whichever by rollover, is the highest rating team that you have played on the required amount, thats where you will receive your points from.

Just to answer your questions and some other info.

1. Yes, level 70s for arena

2. To make a team, you will need to buy a arena team charter. You can buy these in Gadget and a couple of other places. With this charter, depending on the size of the team you bought, you will need that many people to sign it. You then turn it back in to get your team.

3. Points are assigned based on your team's rating for that week (Tues-Tues). Your team must play a minimum of 10 games. Now, all your benched players just have to play a few games to get full credit of the team. Benched meaning this, a 2v2 team, can have 4 members. 3v3 can have 6, etc.

4. Say you are in a 2v2, a 3v3, and a 5v5. You have played all the required games that week for those teams. You will receive arena points based on your top rating team that you are a member of.

5. You get arena points as said above by your team's rating. If you loose a game, you will loose points, you win, your team rating will gain points. Whatever the rating is by rollover on Tuesday, that rating will get you a set amount of arena points. You can get an idea by googling the arena calculator.

6. No honor in here. Just full out war.

Now, when you buy a new team, the rating is set at 1500. Depending on win or loose, it will go up or down. So basically, you want to make teams that work with each other, either class wise/skill/armor/and can coordinate well. Vent is a plus, but not required. Sure others will have some more info, even maybe some corrections to mine, but hope that gives you a little bit of an idea.
