I am a lvl 58 pally and at lvl 300 mining. I have been mining thorium for quite a while and have not been able to lvl past 300. A fellow player that is a lvl 70 pally, recently started mining is well above 300 and is getting experience mining thorium. Have I missed a trainer? What should I do to continue leveling my mining skill?

Everything is blacked out? Maybe go to a trainer. Your mining will never be dependent on your pick.

For the person that wasn't getting lvls past 300. Are you sure you trained to 375 mining? If so, then why are you worried about thorium? You should focus on fel iron ore.

For the people wondering about the mining as a way to grind out money, I have been doing it for the three days. I find a rare gem every hour or so. It has given me the largest profit and I get to gank!

train (for Horde) at Thrallmar on Hellfire Penninsula.

Mine on Hellfire Penninsula too, then in Zangarmarsh and Terrokar forest.

Just an FYI for those like myself who had a brain lapse and couldn't remember where the Master Trainer is for Mining (Alliance). Master Mining Trainer is in Honor Hold in the Blacksmith's building (same location as the Master Blacksmith Trainer who roams around the room). Master Miner trainer is sitting down by the doorway.

This will allow you to go to 375.
