MP5 is a nice bonus for hunters, not a primary stat and certainly not something to rely on. If you're consistently going oom on bosses as a hunter, you don't have enough intellect on your gear or you havent figured out how much more mana efficient steady shot is than arcane shot... Plus there's always the option to feign death and drink.
