They took the lobster out of the tank. 

Instead of cooking and serving it to me, they shipped it halfway across the country.  It was then killed, and all the premium meat was taken and sent to restaurants that actually care about selling good food.

The byproducts were ground up, and mixed with the byproducts of a thousand other lobsters.  This pureed lobster byproduct  was then shaped into "nuggets", frozen, and sent to a warehouse on the other side of the country.

After their supply chain shipped it back to the restaurant, it was then thawed, dipped in boiling fat and served to me alongside a diluted pop and something vaguely resembling potatoes.
