illidian is a demon hunter... of course theyll look alike but you wouldnt know that if you never played wc3 i guess
he is a demon hunter, and only GMs can get weapons like his. however, you can get his blindfold (leather) from illidan. demon hunters r sworn enemies of all demons and fight them with their own spells and tactics. they use the blindfold so they have the ability to sense demons, which u can do if get the illidan drop "cursed vision of sargeras."

ok if blizz dosnt make demon hunter the next hero class then im gonna go insane it would be such an awesome class they shouldve added that class back when the black temple patch came out it would have fit so much
Just wanna say a bit about Altruis since he's one of the coolest NElfs ever. :P
Altruis is of course, a demon hunter. Originally, he was allied with Illidan and actually went through the Dark Portal with him. He later defected after he began to realize that Illidan had become the very thing he was sworn to fight. He wears the blindfold because, obviously, he has no eyes. All true demon hunters do not have eyes, as part of the initiation to become a demon hunter, they are ritualistically burned out. This gives the demon hunter the ability to detect demons and undead with unerring accuracy. Anyway, cheers!
