    If your a real tank you have improved shield block so it blocks the extra attack. You also should be spamming this. If you have 490 defense skill then you automaticaly have enough block/dodge/parry to push crushing blows off the table with sheild block up. You don't need 25% base block just 25% to block, dodge or parry. Block rating is totaly useless and a wasted stat. Block value on the other hand is great cause it blocks more damage with each block and also adds damage to your shield slam :) If you think I'm wrong go check the warrior forums.

      For 5 man groups or anytime you are fighting more than one mob then block value is nice. But I'm sure everyone is thinkin about endgame and tankin against the raid bosses.
      But ur right, I never get hit more than twice before I can shield block again. Therefore every hit gets blocked.
      Im new to Kara, only a few bosses downed but I've done my homework...
      But does anyone know if there are any bosses that hit you fast enough to hit more than twice before another shield block can be put up?... in that case shield block value should still be valuable.
