In the real world rare reagents like nethers and vortexs go to the players that have enough dkp to afford them.
Warriors can scream I'm the main damage dealer I should get for the good of the guild but by saying that Paladins & Shamans think why am I in this stinking guild where I benefit from nothing.
The end result is if you going to keep all the loot to yourself though pure dictatorship your going to lose your team because alot of people raid for better pvp gear.
Stormherlad is a great weapon.
What if I told you Paladins can deal the same damage as a Windfury Specced Shaman with Stormherald? You would call me a noob and laugh.
Since Stormherald has a chance to stun Paladins are more likely to gain a double damage judgement of command on stunable monsters.
The 3.8 speed makes it an excellent weapon for crusader strike which scales well the cooldown and hit rate.
The Strength & Agility fit perfect into retribution talents which are a mix of critical hit rate and conversion of attack power to spell damage.
As you can tell I'm a Paladin player. I decided to quit healing and play as a Damage Dealer. Its tough but the mix of damage and control makes it fun.
You need to make this decsion.
You can force & intimidate people into giving you the reagents simply because your the highest damage dealer or you can be liberal & democratic and earn those reagents though DKP.
Imagine you & every hybird in your guild eventually get a Stormherald at roughly the same month. It might have took a couple of months but you did it in a way where people still want to play with you and not against you.
Need before Greed.
Damage dealing classes tend to have this thought that they have the first privledge on everything and are totally against working hard for items.
Wake up guys. You either play fair or ruin your friend list.
