He's much the same as the breakers around him.  Hits a bit harder and has a bit more HP, same for his spawns.  He also does a pretty powerful knockback, but that just gives you time to heal, it's a flat trajectory so no fall damage unless you get unlucky with a cliff.

Solo'd as lvl 70 druid without much trouble.  Dropped the quest item and some grey trash.

Easy to kite as a Hunter. Just make sure you damage it enough so you get the loot.

If you can solo the normal giants around him than he should be no problem. I didn't notice any difference.  Infact the lvl 70 normal giant was harder.  BM hunter

I think he's just as easy as the other elites around him.  Soloed as 70 Holy Pally.

Soloed easily as a prot warrior. Had 13k health killed him with about 25% remaining. I even aggroed another elite. I just used int shout and ran. Overall this quest was cake.

Just soloed him as a 70 Shadow Priest. I spent about a half hour looking for a partner to do this quest, and then tried soloing one of the other mobs around him. It went well, so I checked here and someone had said that if you could solo one of those mobs, you could solo Cragskaar. This is definitely the case. He was immune to fear, but the tiny little caster pushback fiends he summons are not.

If you're a shadow priest, I had about 738 spell damage. It's possible to solo this with less than that even, seeing as I was still pretty close to full health when I finished and that I killed his little adds afterwards just to show off (making sure to shield when CD was up, and to use my improved vampiric embrace.)

He is soloable via kiting as a shadow priest like the common elites in that area are, except it's harder as he cannot be feared.  Make sure you have a clear running line, and equip a +run speed item.  After that, keep all your debuffs and DOTs on him, nuke when you have the space, and remember that his knockback often gives you the space to throw a Mind Blast in.  You have to hit him with something every few seconds as you run to keep him from resetting (SW:D and VE will do). Kiting also prevents the shards from aggroing you.  If they do spawn at inopportune times and aggro you, they're easily outrun, anyway.

He's immune to fear, so a priest would have no way to stop him beating on the squishy cloth.  You're a paladin in Plate armour with tonnes more armour than a priest, he does Physical damage which you can easily mitigate.

      Engage brain before posting please.
