I know that he has caved me several times (67 feral druid), although I bring him to around 12% health using the small amount of stunlock available to us feral druids...eg...pounce -> shred -> maim -> mangle (cat) -> shift to nelf -> rejuv -> lifebloom -> shift to bear -> bash -> spam lacerate and mangle (bear) he is one tough cookie, so the quest line to kill him won't be one I rush out to start

Solo'd as a 68 rogue (Assassination)
What I did was: Cheap shot opening Mutilate Waited for 60 energy Kidney Shot Mutilate x2 Then when he tried to do the arcane blast you run off or kick it. Evasion Sinister Strike Spam 5 point CB Evis If you start to die at any point in the fight, when he uses his arcane blast run off and bandage yourself or use a potion //Maleic Auchindoun P.S. he is immune to blind and gouge This post is faded because it has a negative score.
Warlocks: As it is an Elemental, just use CoD/Banish(Rank1)/Banish(Rank2). If you time it right, the Annihilator will come out of the second Banish approx 4~ seconds before CoD is up. Takes 3-4 CoD per Annihilator, at 69.
If you have AC, use it!
Not much of an elite. Lvl 70 hunter here with 10.6k health and I took him on and wasted him quickly, LOW armor it seems, your shots count for a lot.
In fact, I was mining nearby after I killed him and another wandered up and started smashing my pet so I began the fight again. Then a nearby blood elf aggro'd. Then a phase hunter aggro'd about halfway through the fight. Had to use a mana pot, and pet nearly died, but we got them all.
Tried a few times on my 70 Prot warrior before I got the right sequence but it is doable. Tanked him solo with a sword and shield.
1) Sunder in Defensive Stance to get 5 sunders up 2) Switch to Fury Stance, pop Recklessness and let loose. Be prepared to use a health pot and Last Stand.
Affliction warlocks, he is susceptible to curse of exhaustion.
I mean he REALLY moves slow when its on him. Walk, dot, walk, dot, walk, refresh Exhaustion etc etc. Keep your pet near you and not on him for dark pact. His AoE will murder your pet if you put your pet on him. Deathcoil immune for sure. Didnt try fear but if hes immune to DC then you already know. Happy hunting.
Soloed as a poorly geared lvl 70 MM specced hunter. I just pulled him without adds, feigned death as needed, and ice trapped him when my pet's health got too low. It took awhile, but a simple enough fight.
I guess there is a quest for these guys; I probably passed when on the way up because it might not have been soloable.
I run into them doing the daily. They're not tough to kill for a 70 of course but you'd be better off avoiding them because they are the ultimate trash mob - an elite that drops nothing.

Tricky to find Score 6.2 by Tig60, 1.3 years ago These dudes can be a pain in the [butt] to find and it is wise to bring a friend. Just [roam from] camp to camp just outside the building, and you will come across an elite dude, this dude is a machine type thing.. kill him and you get your quest item i killed mine at 22,75 if you don't have cords, that is the most south west camp. he was walking along the path.
He spawns at 23,75. Was able to kill he easily as a well geared level 70 balance druid. Root and nuke.
He will respawn about 10 seconds after his body dissapears. I killed him about 20 times in a row trying to get the rare spawn version of him to appear. so far no luck with that. Add Comment
