I just solo'd Princess 3 times to get the ring.  Level 60 hunter with mostly blues, no epics.  Strat: I laid down an immolation trap and aimed shot pulled her, kited her around her little island in a big circle with aspect of the cheetah, and just spammed arcane shot.  Takes me about 20 minutes to kill her but it isn't hard.  Every 30 seconds or so she stops to throw a rock/stun but it seems to have a casting time and a limited range, so if you do it right she'll never be able to cast it.  Dropped the pants twice, the necklace, the dagger, and finally the ring.  Piece of cake and made about 10g total.
